From the minute we arrived the reception staff and bar and restaurant staff were so accomodating. They were really friendly, well turned out and i have no faults with duna beach and its staff. The bungalow was cleaned almost every day, towel changed at least 7 or 8 times in 2 weeks!! cleaning ladies very efficient and mopped floors and made up beds every second day. We had to refuse them entry a couple of days because the place didnt need cleaning. The grounds were well manicured and there was always some gardening or manicuring going on. I have never found this in any accomodation i have stayed in, so good work guys!! the pool was spotless and there was a heated pool to the side which was good. The food was good but not great. Saying that, we ate there 5 nights out of 13!! so not too bad. there are plenty of restaurants if you head into maspalomas or playa del ingles. There is a supermarket on site and it is very well stocked for the essentials. Taxis to playa or the yumbo center is only between 3 and 4 euros. Reception will call one for you but generally there are some outside. It takes about 30 mins to walk to Yumbo center and about 20 mins to the Faro2 center. There are no bars and restaurants around the complex..its based in a golf course..It is very quite and the bungalows are more than adequate. If you want peace and quite then this is it..If you want lively and all night partying then def it is not! I would have no problem staying in or recommending duna beach bungalows.
