The Brunel Hotel is located in Bayswater, within a few minutes walking distance from Paddington and Lancaster Gate tube stations. The hotel is in a traditional Georgian building and the small lobby is very bright and modern with sophisticated lighting. The rooms are basic but in very good condition. The breakfast room at the Brunel Hotel is located in the basement and furnished in a bistro style with pale wooden furniture. The Brunel is a good budget choice hotel that affords a great location for the price charged.

The Brunel is a bit tatty looking in places - it needs a bit of TLC. However, the room was spotless and the bedsheets snowy white. The en-suite bathroom was old and needed renovating, but again it was spotlessly clean and functional.

The Breakfast Room was decorated tastefully, and the included continental breakfast exceeded expectations.

All staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in the perfect spot for walking to Hyde Park, and the shops in Oxford Street and Regent Street.

I'd definitely stay there again.
