The Britannia International London Hotel is situated in the heart of the capital, on the water’s edge of the Docklands development. Acting as a haven from the bustle of the city, this hotel is close to many of the city’s major attractions including Canary Wharf, the ExCel conference & exhibition centre, the Thames, Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and Saint Paul’s Cathedral. The rooms at the International offer fantastic views across the skyline while providing air-conditioning, double beds as standard, en-suite, a telephone, a trouser press, a hair dryer and a TV. The hotel’s catering extends to three restaurants while drinks can be obtained from the Conservatory Bar, with its wall-to-ceiling windows offering great water-front views of the Thames. The leisure centre has its own pool, sauna and gym, available at a small additional charge. WiFi internet access is available at the Britannia International, as are parking facilities. Excellent hotel with friendly staff. Great position near Docklands Light Railway and the Canary Wharf tube - although we enjoyed getting to central London using the Thames Clipper from nearby Canary Wharf. Only criticism is general decor and pool/changing area rather tired and rooms a little too warm.
