What our customers say

We have just returned from a wonderful break in Venice, staying at the Biasutti Hotel on Venice Lido.  Arriving at the Lido via the Airport Waterbus in the dark, we found the hotel directions easy to follow, even for me who doesn't know their left from right!

I had been in prior contact to advise it was my mother's 60th birthday and this holiday was a special occasion.  The Biasutti didn't disappoint, the manager personally greeted us and wished my mother a very happy birthday and had left a bottle of wine in our room for her. Our cases were carried to the room by a friendly porter, which made you feel important.

The room was typically venetian, with heated air conditioning and spotlessly clean.  A wide variety of food was available at breakfast with all staff very polite and friendly.  The hotel contained guests from numerous countries which added to the experience.

I would recommend stopping on the Lido, even out of season when the beaches aren't in use.  It was nice to escape the hustle and bustle of Venice and relax after the 8 minute crossing and mix with the local venetians on the Lido.

The hotel prices are cheaper on the Lido, especially when booking with Alpharooms.  Although you have to pay ferry crossings to Venice if you purchase a 3 day waterbus pass you can utilise it to travel up the Grand Canal and to the other Islands, so all in all it costs less than staying on Venice and you get the best of both worlds.

You felt part of the family at Biasutti, nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff, I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone, the hotel made the whole experience that bit more special.
