Roosevelt- excellent value for money!!

This hotel's location was excellent- 10 minutes from the beach and 5 minutes to place Massena and the shops. The hotel was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The bathroom was a bit dated but the hotel was generally good. I would definitely stay here again and reccommend it to friends. It would suit young and old.

As always the organisation from Alpharooms was fabulous. The hotel were fully prepared for our arrival,  the room was clean and decorated to a good standard. As with most hotels the shower head bracket was loose from the wall! The staff were friendly and helpful but the continental buffet breakfast could have been more adventurous with a greater selection.

The hotel rooms are quite small - smaller than they look in the pictures but they are clean.  The room we stayed in had tea and coffee making facilities and a TV.  The bathroom was clean even though there were some small mold marks around the shower.
The hotel is very central - less than a 10 min walk from the sea front and the train station.  The staff there were very helpful if we needed anything.  
Breakfast consisted of some criossants, bread, cereal, cheese, ham, yougurts, juice, eggs and tea/coffee.

A nice place to stay - very central and it has everything you need for a break in NIce

Stayed here for 4 nights in November 2006.

Room allocated was much bigger than we expected! Had two double beds in it and plenty of space. Room facilities included a fridge, minisafe, satellite tv, dvd player. Excellent location. A little noisy as it is central, but it is fairly soundproofed. Five minute walk from the beach.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful whenever we approached them, and from what I saw and experienced, they really respect their guests. The breakfast is quite simple, not a tremendous variety, but they have the basics like breads, croisants, boiled eggs, yoghurt, cereals etc. It was adequate for me and I'm pretty fussy!

I can't fault this hotel at all. Someone reviewing it on another website had photos displaying a hideously dirty bathroom and cracked walls, but all I can say is that the pictures must have been from a long time ago. The whole hotel is clean, our bathroom was immaculate, the decor is up-to-date and it was really worth the rates we paid on alpharooms (who, by the way, had the best rates for this hotel that I could find online)

We stayed here with our toddler and the facilities for her were good.
