This is the third time we have booked through Alpharooms, and we will certainly use them again in the future.
The hotel is situated in Sao Rafael, which is circa three kilometres from the main resort of Albufeira, and therefore car hire is something that we would recommend. Lovely location, and the small supplement for the a 'sea view' is definately worth it, however if you need latre afternoon/early evening sun on your balcony, you will need to be on the side looking over the car park.
Room was spacious, with good sized wardrobes and comfortable beds. Water was always hot in the bathroom, which has a bidet and a powerful shower working off the bath taps.
Staff very friendly and helpful. We were on a B&B basis, and were well satisfied with the choices available at breakfast.
For our evening meal we found a local restaurant, the Por do Sol, which is excellent, and within walking distance.
If you need a quiet, relaxing break, this hotel would definately meet your needs.
