Excellent Hotel
11 July 2008
The hotel Best Western Premier Kinsky Gardens Hotel is a high quality establishment. It is situated on the opposite side of the River Vltava from the Old Town but is still very centrally located. It is only five minutes walk to excellent tram links to the main parts of Prague. The hotel is located in a ver nice part of Prague and the 30 minute walk into the Old Town Square, across the Charles Bridge is a delight. If you don't fancy the walk however, take the tram. The Castle and Petrin Hill and its sights are all within easy reach of the hotel and there is a fabulous Mexican restaurant, Cantina, 10 or 15 minutes walk away. The room we had in the hotel was spacious and well appointed and very clean. It had everything you would expect at such an establishment. The dining room was beautiful and the continental style buffet breakfast was fine if not quite excellent. In the evenings the hotel left little chocolates on the bed and turned down our bedclothes - a very nice touch. All in all this is an excellent hotel for seeing Prague and is, in my opinion, very good value for money.

Hotel,is situated only about 5 mins by tram to the center. Its nice nearby too as there are restaurants and pubs close by, Staff were friendly and helpfull,Use of the internet in the bar was free Rooms were spacious and clean,The only gripe we had was the was no tea and coffee making facilities in the Rooms, Cleaning staff were lovely and always came back later to change towels shampoo etc etc if we wer not ready to leave room while they were doing that floor, Little Chocolates on our pillows at night were a nice touch,

Review of 'BEST WESTERN KINSKY GARDEN'

Size and cleanliness of room was very good. However there were no towels on arrival, but following four phone calls to reception and an hour wait we were suitably furnished. Also there was no tea/coffee making facilities, again following lengthy phone calls we were told we could only have tea as the coffee could not be found! THe 2nd day the room was tidyed but the kettle was taken away. On contacting reception I was informed that they didn't have enough kettles to go around!! The food from the room service menu leaves a lot to be desired too!!
