I stayed 5 nights here at the beginning of May. Weather was perfect. If you're looking for a smart hotel right in the heart of a plethora of bars, shops, restaurants and close to the beach then this could be the place for you. That being said it never suffered from excess noise despite its cramped central location.
The hotel isn't in the prettiest of areas being surounded as it is by other apartment blocks and hotels (the pool area is nice & quiet but overlooked by other such buildings). No problems getting sunbeds either. The food was very good throughout, not as much choice as I've encountered elsewhere but more than sufficient to eat well & variedly. Do make use of the happy hours in the hotel bar, 5-7pm & 8-9pm as outside these hours neighbouring bars represent better value.
My room was a clean & a good size with good size balcony. Having ITV1 & occasionally sky news when the signal was strong enough plus a fridge stocked with complimentary 2 of each bottled water, fanta, coke & Amstel beer compensated for the rather cramped & bizzarley arranged bathroom, with it's dimly lit bath & shower area.
There's a separate tv lounge with large flat LCD with sky sports1 and entertainment each night, primarily geared towards the older generation.
All in all a pleasant stay, I would stay here again if & when i return to Benidorm & would recommend you do the same.

Great location
22 April 2008
We stayed in the hotel in feb 2007 for 2 weeks.we had a lovely room with a separate lounge it was fantastic. the beach is only 5 mins walk at snail pace. the shops and night life are all about the same. The staff were very helpful and friendly. the food was buffet style and a great choice and always fresh. you could never go away hungery even if you are a fussy eater. the only problem we had with the place was the suite we has was a corner one and we has a terrible smell in the bathroom. The staff tried to rectify this with air freshner but it did not work.Apparently at the time of year we went the wind is at the wrong direction and they do sometimes get a nasty smell from the drains. When a room became available they moved us straight away.ok the room was not as nice and big, but at least they solved our problem. i would go back, benidorm is a fantastic place to holiday

Tip Top Hotel
27 January 2008
If you are looking for a good hotel, pleasantly situated and value for money look no further than the Benidorm Centre. We stayed half board and the food was excellent with variety of choice, well presented and pleasant hard working staff to whom nothing was a bother. Free champagne (well Cava) for breakfast and a choice of cooked or continental with fresh fruit and a variety of fresh bread.
The evening music was very acceptable and ideal for dancing to and there was also late night cabaret.
The hotel is well located only a couple of blocks from the sea front and near the main shopping thoroughfare, Avenida del Mediterraneo.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of 10 days and look forward to returning next year.

mother and daughter
12 December 2007
I stayed at this hotel for 6 days in dec 2007 with my mother. The hotel staff are so friendly and attend to your every need. They are always concerned that all is well with you. The food was fantastic. We were full board and the level of good quality was excellent. The menu was varied and there were many dishes to choose from. You never saw plates of food being returned. The room was spacious and kept very clean on daily basis. Our room faced towards the sea and got the sun all day. The front of the hotel is always in the shade. Every evening there was dancing in the hotel plus entertainment. The hotel was well placed for all that Benidorm has to offer. I have stayed in many hotels in Benidorm and have never been disapointed but this one way exceeded the rest.

The best
16 October 2007
Thank you once again Alpha rooms for the faultless service and help in our booking for 9 on the 27/09/07. The Benidorm-Centre Hotel could not have been bettered in any way. The staff were the most friendly we have encountered and the hotel was spotless. We could not have asked for more. The food (we were full board) was very good with plenty of choice. All nine in the party agreed it was the best we had experienced.

Very Good Hotel
09 June 2007
Firstly I should tell any of you who are concerned about booking independently over the internet that this was our third booking with alpha rooms and the shuttlebus transfer each time the transaction, transfer and hotel have been faultless, we have no hesitation in recommending this company to you.
Stayed here 3-8 June 2007 (Weather as perfect) The Benidorm Centre is situated two blocks back from the Lavante beech ( Just one main road to cross) and is almost on the edge of the old town, it is about two hundred yards to each. The hotel in comparison to others is low level (9 floors) I guess everyone would say that the rooms that face the sea front would be the better situated as it happened ours didn’t and we overlooked the road at the back of the hotel, but this makes no difference to us. The room itself was clean and spacious with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space with hangers. The bathroom was excellent except for the toilet seat that would not stand up by itself (this can be a bit of a problem for a man it the middle of the night, if you know what I mean)
There is also a TV (Sky news, ITV and Skysports 1) and fridge and safe in the room
The restaurant is in the basement area but it is still clean and bright with buffet service, half board guests can choose between lunch and dinner or they can take the meal as a picnic lunch and eat out in the evening. The food was good with a varied choice each evening.
The evening entertainment in the lounge bar was pretty similar to all the other hotels I have stayed in with a local act doing their thing for half and hour the rest of the time there is music singing and dancing and if you want to have the occasional dance (but he can’t) then all you have to do is learn just the basic ballroom samba and then you can be on the floor and looking just as good as all the other couples.
Benidorm has something for everyone and The Benidorm Centre is a good hotel and ideally situated.

Great Hotel
12 May 2007
Stayed at this hotel April 07. Very clean Food great, good choice and staff very helpful and frieldly. We had a big room that would sleep 4, it had a seperate bedroom. Entertainment was for the older generation and nothing for children only a pool and pool table. We were with another family that had 2 8 year olds and as the weather was not that great more for children would be great. Trying to decide if we are going back next year or try another hotel.

Review of 'BENIDORM CENTRE'
02 April 2007
The Hotel was second to none. The room we were allocated No.311 consisted of a large sitting room with two settes a table two armchairs, telivision, fridge, and a large wardrobe. The bedroom was seperated by a glass sliding door which we found very good if one of us needed a nap without the other having to either go out or sit in a confind area. The food in the dining room was of a very high standard always hot and on the whole very well presented. We found the staff very helpful and we recommend this accommadation to anybody looking for a good quality hotel in Benidorm.

Review of 'BENIDORM CENTRE'
23 February 2007
Just returned from a week's stay at the Benidorm Centre Hotel with my daughter and her boyfriend and my mother and her carer
The Hotel is in a fantastic location, 5 minutes away from the Alicante/Benidorm bus stop - Alsa Bus, which was great with all the luggage and my mother in her wheelchair.
The food was very good with plenty for everyone, pity about the girl behind the hot counter who was as miserable as sin, enough to put you off the food with her sullen looks, but the rest of the Hotel staff were fantastic - nothing too much trouble at all.
We were on full board and decided to have a couple of days when we ordered "a picnic", which we could hardly lift with all the food they packed into the bag - juice, water, fruit, rolls, ham, cheese, pate etc. which was more than enough for one person.
We were off very early in the morning and would have missed breakfast, but the Hotel provided a cold breakfast for us which was delivered to our rooms - nothing flash but at least a drink and a bite to eat. You have to request this at reception.
Pity about the swimming pool though during our stay as it as empty for maintenance work which during half term you think they could have waited but nevertheless.
The entertainment leaves much to be desired totally catering for the Spanish which was a load of rubbish. We went in one night for a drink and after 5 minutes we had had enough and took our drink to our room.
The hotel has a disco, which unfortunately was closed, but on the other hand perhaps a good thin |
