The BelleVue Club Bellevue complex is Europe's largest resort hotel and consists of 17 separate buildings in an attractive setting, aside a lake and surrounded by large green areas. Went with family in three separate rooms and two apartment blocks, we personally stayed in Neptuno 1 rather than our usual Sirenna 2 studio. Must admit i found Neptuno easier to get access into using a wheelchair (still cannot access the bathrooms whilst in the chair) our other family stayed in Minerva 2 over looking the street, they did comment the room was cold and didn't get the sunlight throughout the day and would have preferred a higher than ground floor room if they stayed again. or better view such as over the lake location, location, location.
We ourselves always arrange our accommodation through Alpharooms.com and have done for may years, along with transfers, insurance and extras dependednt on numbers traveling with us (never had a problem with bookings) flights are subject to best price on the internet and will always search before booking as the times of flights make a big difference to your overall holiday, late flights into or out of the island can be a nightmare.
This break was just what the doctor ordered with wall to wall sunshine, fe rowdy Brits abroad but hey its their holiday too. Tivoli does the best steak in town pop in and say hi to waiters Juan & Pepe and of course Carlos the chef manning the BBQ area they will make you feel right at home.
Oh we did fish the brackish water lake and canal with some good mullet, sea bream and eels this year falling to bread hard on the bottom at 3m depth using 5m whips purchased from the 2 shops now in Alcudia port that sell fishing tackle and bait, (be warned you should have a Spanish licence to fish, they are not checked very often but stern when they catch you without one)
Anyway back now tanned, refreshed and planning our September return.
