Our first and I suspect last trip to Vegas, the home of sleaze and now it seems all about extracting the maximum dollars from its visitors! We visited a number of the hotels on the 'Strip' and it certainly seems the Bellagio's public areas are outstanding, though just as crowded with slot machines and gaming tables as the other hotels. The room was exceptionally large and well equipped. Service was very much geared to the large numbers, there is no guest directory in the room and you won't be able to contact a concierge by phone, only by lining up in reception. We found the food excellent but overall both food and drink very expensive. For our taste, hotel while palatial is too big, too impersonal and too gambling-orientated. If you're going to Vegas and you're a fan and know what to expect and don't mind spening the money, then this is a good choice.

From the moment we stepped into the Dale Chihuly's ( A Famous glass aritist) wonderful glass ceilinged hotel lobby,we knew that we were in a truly unique hotel and in for a special and memorable experience. The trip to the room in an extremely plush elevator reinforced this expectation. Our room which was only an 'ordinary' room was very luxurious in a tasteful way. It was spacious, comfortable, extremely clean and had a super remote control to turn lights on and off and even undo/shut the curtains at the window! What was amazing was the soundproofing, casinos have guests coming and going 24 hours a day but my husband (a light sleeper)never heard a thing and slept soundly.
We ate in the hotel buffet and were not disappointed, the food was freshly made, beautifully presented and replenished whenever stocks got low. We sampled a little bit of all their meats and fish, each one fabulous! The swimming pool area is gorgeous, kept extremely clean and well stocked with large fluffy white towels for guests to use. Needless to say we can't wait for a return visit and would recommend this hotel highly. We stayed midweek which is considerably cheaper tahn weekend.

It was wonderful!!!
My husband and I enjoyed the Beauty, Elegance and service of the Hotel. We stayed at the 19th floor faces the Marvelous Fountain, the beautiful view of Paris and the strip of Vegas. They have so many good restaurants and excellent food, if you go you have to try my favorite drink "Funky Monkey" at the cafeteria. We also got very special seats for "O" the show of Cirque de Soleil.
You will never regret, it is just the best!

One of the classier of the strip hotels with plush decor and surroundings. The marble lobby is great with lovely fountains outside.  They even have their own art gallery featuring famous classic artists.

The rooms were spacious and service as you'd expect in the USA, friendly and efficient.  The buffet is among the best on the strip with quality as well as quantity (not always found in other buffets) including freshly squeezed orange juice (I had 4 glasses!) and huge prawns.

The hotel is in the centre of the strip or at least it was when we went there! For a taster get out the DVD of Oceans Eleven!

Decadently affordable

We stayed at The Bellagio when we got married and it was great!  The room was very spacious and the bathroom was fantastic - it had a very powerful shower and a separate bathtub.  The hotel facilities were all immaculate with a high level of staff attention to detail.  The pool area is a wonderful place to relax during the day and the Cafe Bellagio is an affordable place to eat at any time of the day.  Try to get a room overlooking the fountains; however, there are several places to just stand and admire the fabulous display. Have a good time!
