Hotel room we stayed in was a little small, the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. the staff in the hotel were very helpful, more than be said for the staff on the private beach who basically ignored you, which having had to pay 17 euros per person per day for was not great. I can however recommend Nice for a short break

This was our 3rd or 4th stay in the last few years. The hotel is in an excellent location. However standards have deteriorated in the last 2 years. Staff - no great effort to acknowledge guests. Room - the same dust lay on the surfaces for the duration of our 5 night stay. Bathroom - bath dirty - bath took 15 mins to drain even after asking the staff to clear the disgusting plug hole. carpet in the hallway outside our room was heavily stained. A pity that a hotel that was previously good has gone downhill - unfortunately we wont be back.

Review of 'BEAU RIVAGE'

Situated a short walk to the old town and flower market. The beach is just around the corner with the bus for tours also around the corner on the promenade. The hotel is even better than shown on their web site. The rooms are very modern with plasma screen TV's and beautiful bathrooms. Staff are friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble
Breakfast is quite expensive, but there is a lovely little cafe just beside the flower market that does a brilliant continental breakfast for less than 10 euros.
We would highly recommend a few days in Nice
