Very basic but great location
21 April 2008
The best thing about this hotel is it's location. It is close to two tube stations, Bayswater and Queensway, and very close to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. There are also some lovely bars, coffee shops and retaurants in the area. The interior of the hotel itself is very tired and rundown. The breakfast just consisted of bread rolls and tea or coffee. Cereals cost extra. Tea/coffee in the room was in paper cups. However, on the plus side, the water in the shower was hot and it was quiet at night time.
Just remember to bring your shampoo and shower gels as there are none in the bathroom!

no good hotel
30 January 2008
(January 2008) I had a room level -1, with a small window (be carefull if you are claustrophobic). The bathroom was very old, the sink was cracked, inside the radiator was very dirty. No international channels, NO BBC or CNN. The breakfast was very poor: some bread, marmalade, coffee and horrible orange juice. For english breakfast you must pay extra. I don't think to comeback in this hotel.

Fair price
13 November 2007
Overall the hotel meets my expectation with the price charged. The hotel situated at a quiet location with 5 minutes walk from tube station, problematic with big luggage. The room is big but the renovation is a bit wore off. The shower head is fixed, not very convenient for young kid.
The receptionist at the front desk was not very pleasant though tried to be helpful.

Review of 'BAYSWATER INN'
07 February 2006
This was an enjoyable stay [Feb 2006]. BAYSWATER INN was s a short walk from the tube. Lots of restaurants nearby. The lifts worked, the mattress was good quality and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was pleasant; the bread rolls were fresh and the tea a little weak.
There were tea making facilities in the room. The bathroom was a little small and it was difficult to wash under the shelf! Otherwise the shower was easy to control and there was no shortage of hot water.
We would stay there again.
