What our customers say
Hotel has an excellent location overlooking the beach at Gandia,we had a great room, good size, sea view ,large balcony, nice and clean and in good decorative order. That was all the positive points now for the negative im afraid.Food always cold and seemed to be bought in from the sister hotel bayren parc 11 next door on trays, hence the temperature the same foods were put out at dinner time as lunch time, like cold meats ect so we gave them a miss. The food was so repetative and the spanish guests were complaining to the waitresses all the time. We are not fussy eaters and I travel abroad 4-6 times a year and always make the best of the food that is on offer, but the quality and variety offered here was one of the worst I have experienced especially concidering it is a 4 star hotel, I would give the food a hotel star rating of 2 star.
Reception staff spoke very little english and were unhelpfull and miserable.as were the waiters and waitresses. The hotel was full of older spanish guests, a spanish version of saga holidays, we were amongst a handfull of english and german.so all entertainment is only in spanish and nothing for english clientel. Overall we had a great time as Gandia beach is excellent a massive wide stretch of golden sand with toilets and snack bars every couple of hundred meters but I would not recommend you eat at the hotel, just have bed and breakfast and eat out for lunch and dinner or just go to another hotel.
