Base2stay

This was my second stay at Base2Stay and it was equally as good as my first. As a solo traveller, this hotel suits me perfectly. The rooms may not be huge but they are incredibly clean and comfortable. The bed was great with a cosy duvet which smelt fresh and new - no nasty scratchy stained blankets like those in many hotels!. The bathroom was always spotless with fresh white towels each day. The kitchenette is especially useful as travelling alone I didn't always want to eat out. I felt right at home here, the staff are extremely friendly and eager to please and the location is fantastic as it is only 2 minutes from Earls Court or Gloucester Road tube stations. What I love about this hotel is that it is maintained so well, you almost feel as though no-one has stayed in the room before you.

We recently visited the Base2Stay on our last trip to London in September ('07). This was a fantastic hotel. Great rates for a wonderful room. We have heard that London hotel rooms can be rather small but we found the Base2Stay to be very roomy. New contemporary style. Great Location! Very convenient to the tube. Beautiful streets to stroll through during the day & night. Although the Base2Stay did not have a restaurant within the building, we didn't find this an issue since there are many cafes & restaurants convenient to the location. Also the room included a kitchenette. I would highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay here the next time I visit London.
