just got back from a 9 day stay at the Barcelo Isla Canela, ,we found the food to be Plentiful and a wide choice Mainly Spanish and Portugese people staying there, the hotel staff were always very helpful, and friendly from reception to cleaners, only down side was the Airconditioning didn't blow cold enough for us but apart from that we would reccomend the hotel,there are no shops in Isla canela ,the nearest town is Ayamonte and we had to use a taxi as from 1st september the buses had stopped running as its classed as winter.The beach is good there was a bit of seaweed but was cleaned each morning and is safe for children.
