The Bara Guest House is the third part of Hotel Bara. Situated in the quiet garden side of the premises besides the main road, it is connected to the main building through a corridor with a few stairs. Bara Guest House has a range of two, three and four person rooms with en-suite. The hotel provides a cafe, an inviting bar and an air-conditioned a la carte restaurant with separate non-smoking area which serves both Hungarian and international cuisine. It shares the same hotel facilities as the other parts of the building, including a 24-hour reception with lobby, a safe for valuable items, currency exchange, cloakroom and garage

The Bara Guest House was excellent value for money.The plusses were the price; the quietness and the cleanliness. The negatives were the distance and number of steps from the main entrance and breakfast room; the lack of inroom drink making facilities; and the lack of a fridge. The location was fine. Initially it seemed a long way from the river,but a bus stop is only 50 metres or so from the hotel and Numbers 8 and 112 buses were only a few minutes ride away from Ference Ter. The Citadel is only a 15 minute walk from the hotel.The staff were all helpful and friendly and the breakfast varied and plentyful.
