Hotel Baltum is ideally situated just 50 metres from the beautiful Albufeira beach, making it very popular with budget travellers insistent on a good location. Albufeira is a vibrant place at night and lights up with activity in its bars and discos, whilst during the day guests can visit the beach and see the village’s fishing area still operating in its old, traditional way. The en suite guest rooms overlook the town and are comfortable and well appointed with all of the modern amenities you would expect of a hotel of its class, including air conditioning and satellite TV. The hotel’s restaurant offers a range of tasty dishes including local and international cuisine, while guests can alternatively dine al fresco at the esplanade terrace restaurant, making the most of the warm climate. The Hotel Baltum is ideal destination for a relaxing break in the Algarve. Please Note: Between the 4th January and the 8th February 2009 (inclusive) the Baltum Hotel will be closed for renovation.

What our customers say

On the positive side, this hotel was a good value for money, in a brilliant location - very close to the beach and all the bars and restaurants, the staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. As for the negatives, our room and the bathroom were tiny and there was a very bad smell of sewage overnight in the bathroom. Also the breakfast was disappointing: 2 bread rolls/each, one type of cheese and processed ham, jam and cornflakes everyday, nothing else. Overall it was fine but we would not stay again.
