First time at the Bahia Principe hotel and we had a great time. Food was brill something for everyone (be carefull because all you will do is eat). The staff were brill - the reps give in everything - kids club brill, my 5 year old loved it water games face painting etc. We went all inclusive, you could pour you own drinks (I never saw one person legless). The only problem was sunbeds - you are not allowed to put towels on beds before 8am (which is good) but this is not wrote any where - so people came down at 7am put towels on beds & went for breakfast - pool man came around at 7.30am and took towels off beds - new people came down at 8am and took beds - people came back from breakfast and then there was war. WOULD I GO BACK - "YES" -

Celebrate and Chill!
18 October 2007
Live on Tenerife - decided to celebrate our 36th wedding anniversary on the island. Liked the idea of all inclusive even though we are not big drinkers.
The Reception - very welcoming. The junior suite - very inviting. The food - a great selection to suite everyone's taste. Restaurants - well run. The a la carte restaurants - ok. We went to the fish restaurant - could have been a little better. The bar on the main terrace - was ok - help yourself to many of the drinks; a bit of a free for sometimes. The cocktails were poor. Coffee / tea on tap - good. But no c / t facilities in the suite. Pool area lovely although the tannoyed music (for aqua classes, etc|) deafening. Entertainment as one as come to expect and the Motown Sound was great - should have lasted twice as long. We would go back to this hotel again which is unusual for us because we are a bit picky. Our limit is 3 days in any hotel so this break fitted the bill perfectly.

We love this hotel, we've been twice and we're booking again for next year. We can't fault anything about the hotel other than we cant afford to stay there all year long.
Food, service, staff, cleanliness, kids club, entertainment, are all superb.
Definately worth it's 4*.
We can't wait to go back again next year.

Review of 'BAHIA PRINCIPE COSTA ADEJE'
11 April 2007
We travel to the sun three times a year (always 4* or more if we can!,and this hotel is the best all rounder we have stayed in. HOTEL Views are spectacular all over. Pools and grounds area also beautiful, botanical garden style. Public areas well kept and pretty. Rooms big enough, and well kept with nice touches from housekeeping (flowers made from toilet roll!) ATMOSPHERE The hotel is 4*sup and the adjoining sister hotel Bahia Principe Tenerife, (which you can use the facilities of)is 5*. The buildings are hacienda style, fantasy like but not tacky. What appealed to me is that the hotel lives up to the ranking without the pretentious air of some 4/5* hotels, and maintains the 'alive and happy' vibe that is usually lost when you go from 3 to 4 star - especially when it comes to catering for children. This is mainly due to the fantastic entertainment team. They have both adults and children catered for night and day, with the usual stuff but done very well. There's a touch of a caribbean cruise vibe to the whole set up. Importantly, for a large hotel which was at full capacity, it didn't seem over crowded and we didn't experience any queueing problems. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. ENTERTAINMENT All day around the pool, for adults and kids. Our son is 5. He was delighted. They did two shows including Grease during the week, which we saw on stage in the evening. They went to the beach. There was plenty of supervision. I was really impressed. Evening entertainment was a mix of in house and professional acts. As hotel entertainment goes it was pretty good, one or two dodgy ones but that doesn't bother me, our son was glued to it, even the in house shows were fun - again, down to the good team. FOOD Food was very good to excellent, especially compared to other AI hotels I have stayed in. Good selection and well presented. Lunch menu was sometimes better than dinner. Here I draw another comparison to cruising, you could eat 24/7. They had a snack bar open from 12mn to 8am when all else was closed! I hadn't seen that before. Also, it wasn't difficult to get at the food and drink, you could help your self to nearly everything all day long, including champagne. DOWNSIDES I am hard pushed to find any, but I will be picky for the sake of the review. Obvious one, pretty remote resort, playa paraiso is walking dista

A fantastic hotel, food was out of this world catering for every age, caviar to chicken nuggets! Various a la carte restaurants, thai, mexican, spanish etc which you can eat at 3 times for free, although I really loved the buffet restaurant as there was so much choice. Pools were really good, 4 in total including one climate controlled. Service was good and everything is so clean. Not a lot to do or see out of the hotel as it is a bit out of the way but a taxi to playa de las americas was cheap, although I couldn't find much to do there unless you wanted to drink in the bars. I would say that this is a great hotel to stay at if you like to relax and chill out by the pool all week and would definitely go back.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Bahia Principe Costa Adeje! We had a fantastic time, our most enjoyable holiday ever! The place was great. We knew it was in a remote location but this suited our need lots of rest and relaxation. The food was amazing lots of choice and we prefered the buffet rather than the a-la carte restraunts. We had a lovely suite with whirlpool jacuzzi well worth the extra money! The staff we extremly friendly and effecient. The place was spotless everywhere. Would highly recomend.

12 June 2006
Overall a very enjoyable stay in the excellent hotel in June 2006.
Staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms and facilities also excellent. Good variety in buffet style food, slightly let down by two things - no insectaflash present, therefore flies around food area. Also pidgeons came into main restaurant the odd time, but were constant visitors to pool bar (on the bar itself looking for bread etc.)
Pools large and very clean, with surrounding areas washed down daily. Beautifully maintained gardens.
Location a bit remote. Shuttle bus operates to Las Americas 3 times daily at €4 per adult return, (free at certain times) but must be booked in advance. Otherwise taxi costs €12 to €15 each way.
Entertainment program most nights.
Would definitely return again.

Great Hotel. Can't fault it on any level. I went with two other girl friends (late 30's). We wanted a chill out holiday to unwind from kids and work and that's exactly what we got. We booked a junior suite which was in perfect condition and extremely spacious and just beside one of the many pools. The hotel was very clean and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Would recommend this for family, couple, mature singles, disabled. The hotel had plenty of entertainment for adults and kids club appeared to be great fun! If you book make sure to check out the sister hotel Bahia Principe Tenerife (right beside it) as you can arrange to eat at one of their restaurants for a change.
Could go on and on really enjoyed my holiday and will go back with kids.

Review of 'BAHIA PRINCIPE COSTA ADEJE'
31 March 2006
The Bahia Principe was my first experience of a large hotel and of an all inclusive resort, however with a 8 month old baby in tow it seemed the ideal solution for two slightly weary parents looking for some winter sun. We were not disappointed and I am converted to this concept. The customer service was excellent, the room pleasantly large even with a cot and all the paraphenalia that goes with a baby, and the food superb. The hotel was spotless with an army of cleaning staff seemingly constantly on duty and the gardens fantastically well kept. The central pool area had plenty of beds and parasols and the heated pool a real bonus particularly for the little ones. We took full advantage of the baby sitting service for which we paid an extra premium - but what price a quiet night out for just the two of you. I would like to tell you about the proximity of local attractions but we found so much to do on the complex - read, eat, swim, sunbathe etc that we never made it anywhere in our week. We are hoping to return soon.

This is with out a doubt the BEST hotel I have stayed in. The service was great, the food was TOO much! The place was spotless and the staff were just BRILLIANT! The entertainment was smashing with good shows including pro acts. The grounds and setting was exceptional and the only thing wrong was that I only had 7 days to enjoy it and chill, oh and I had a great trouble spending money as every thing was included! I am booking again soon. You must go. Roger

Just returned from the half term week at Bahia Principe. Chose this hotel based on the many good reviews I read on various websites and let me say they were all spot on. Location quite stunning, spacious stylish pools, food quality and variety great, complex always clean, tidy and very efficiently run, staff friendly and welcoming. Yes it's quite remotely located, but if it's a chill week you're seeking that's fine.....Our teenage children certainly didn't bemoan that fact and the 17 year old found plenty of totty on site! We thought the Costa Adeje block was far superior to the Tenerife block although we did enjoy our meal at the Asian restaurant there. Evening entertainment is the average array but amusing enough after a few beers! Overall, our verdict is FAB....go try it sometime. PS.Alpharooms was far and away the most competitive price I could find, so well done to you lot too, I'll be tap tapping on your site again soon!

Review of 'BAHIA PRINCIPE COSTA ADEJE'
13 October 2005
The hotel is perfect for a relaxing break, excellent food and longing by the pool. The hotel was spotless and the staff very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious (but a little dark), bathrooms big and very clean. Hotel situated 25mins from the airport and costs around 25 euros plently of taxis at the airport don't bother pre booking. The only down sides for the hotel are it is in the middle of know where (for us that was a good thing) and the hotel is built on a very large hill with the hotel at the top and the pools at the bottom I don't think it's suitable for people who can't get around very easily - positive you make more room for the lovely food they serve!

I have just returned from my 3rd holiday in the Bahia Principe and I have to say once again I cannot fault this hotel in any way. The staff are extremely professional and we noticed some of the staff have been there for the last 3 years which is a good thing. The food was amazing, fantastic choice and something for everyone. We didn't get tired of eating in the hotel for the 2 weeks which is very unusual. Everything about the hotel is first class and I would highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday.

The hotel "Principe" was immaculatley clean every day, with a constant army of cleaners making sure every "nook and cranny" was "spic n' span" to the highest standards. The food at every meal time was always first class. I'm personally not a great fan of hotel food, but the standard and range of food presented each day was beyond all expectations - I couldn't fault it. All the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, which made staying there very pleasant and enjoyable. I would stongly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a all-inclusive family holiday.

The Bahia Principe Costa Adeje really deserves its 4* superior rating. From our arrival, every one of the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. Having been on a number of all inclusive holidays to various destinations in the past, this has been the first where from day one we have wanted to book another stay at the hotel soon after and when it came to the final day, we found ourselves looking forward to our next stay there. We ventured out of the hotel only once because they look after you so well and because the facilities at the hotel are so wonderful, you really don't need to leave. The varied 24 hour food and drink, and the entertainment programme also prove the commitment to guests that this hotel have to ensure you have a great holiday with them - and we did!

It was fantastic. No complaints, the food was excellent (including the 24hr snack bar), hotel was spotless, views were beautiful, and all the staff provided a friendly service. There were 2 beaches within a short walking distance and of course the hotel pools & juccuzi. We are going back next year for 2 weeks and are taking the kids this time!
