stayed in july 07 and thought the hotel was clean the food was good and the pool area brilliant, all the staff where friendly apart from 1 man who injoyed causeing arguments with customers for no reason and after a lot of complaints nothing ws seen to be done with in a way made up feel unconftable,my only other probkem was when we arrived our room wasnt ready so we had to wait around for about an hour untill they were serviced apart from that we loved our stay and are booked to go back out on july 18 2008 for another week.

Cant wait to go back again!!
30 August 2007
After reading the reviews on this page and others I was a bit weiry but it was the best holiday ever!! You are about a 10 minute walk from the west end (which is amazing) and right next to the best pubs in the bay!! The food was ok for all inclusive but it is only a 3 star hotel and you get what you pay for. The rooms arent too spacious but it does for when you are only sleeping in them. Small but the view from ours was excellent, looking right onto the pool.
Entertainment was fun, we won the quiz on the first night, got a bottle of champagne. They are quite strict as we got a warning on our first night as we had a party in our room. It was full and lasted from night time until 1 oclock the next afternoon!! We had a group of 6 young English ones who got thrown out the night before we all left as they received 4 warnings. All in all it was a great holiday and we cant wait to go back next year!!

Not bad at all
30 July 2007
I stayed an the Mar Amantis II July 2007. The food was good meal times are breakfast 8-10 dinner 1-3 tea 7-10. Snack bar opens 10-18.30. All inclusive option bar 12-22.30. The bar staff are scarce and very slow. The rooms are clean enough. The hotel is value for money. there is only one restuarant for both hotels though

Good, good!
14 July 2007
I stayed at the Mar Amantis again for the 3rd time in 12 months. Can't fault it at all. One thing I did notice this time round is that the Mar Amantis II is more rowdy because they have more package deal holidays staying there. Also, more of the entertainment is in that part of the hotel, so you can get woken up by the entertainment. Not good if you're done in after a night out.
However, clenaliness, food, standard of rooms.......... EXCELLENT!

21 May 2007
I have just got back from my stay at Mar Amantis and i enjoyed every minute, i'm already looking to book again for August. Its situated in San Antonio bay and even in May the local bars were great fun. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone of any age, the staff are lovely and put on some kind of entertainment every evening and they are all very helpful. I had a fantastic time and can not wait to return.

Review of 'MAR AMANTIS'
17 October 2006
The Mar Amantis was the substitute for The Pacific Hotel over the other side of the bay, and l must say l was very impressed, considering the amount of meals the staff had to do, it was always different (apart from the salad-which l love alway)! The hotel alway looked spotless concerning the amount of people. there were always loads arriving, but was always treated the same. It probably wasn't as personal as the Pacific but it had more to give in other ways, and the stff were always polite, plus they remembered you, so you wasn't just a number. I met up with people l knew, and there was still a lot of clubs open to choose from - check out The Pink Panther karoke bar - you're littly to be put on their web site as we were. There are lots l could write, but l would just like to thank them for opening the restaurant (just for me) on the early morning of my departure (l expected just a picnic bag) l was able to sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee and a choice of foods and fruit - l thank the polite male receptionist who was on duty that morning as he also took my details as l had losed a trinket which he informed me would returned if found. Three meals a day plus everything that comes with all inclusive and all for 112.54. Thank you Mar Amanthis.

Review of 'MAR AMANTIS'
09 July 2006
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you what a brilliant time I had staying at the Mar Amantis Hotel. The food, service, facilities and rooms where of the highest standards that I have experienced whilst on holiday abroad. I must commend all staff at the Mar Amantis hotel. They were professional, polite, courteous and an absolute pleasure to deal with on a daily basis. I would like to draw particular attention to the reception and kitchen staff. The staff in both these areas are of the highest quality and a credit to the hotel and to Azuline Hotels. I would also like to commend the domestic staff on their cleanliness, professional manner and respect of guests privacy - nothing was too much trouble. They were willing to call back at a time suited to the guest. As far as I am concerned the hotel offers excellent value for money. I will definately be returning to the hotel in the future, and will promote the Mar Amantis Hotel here in the UK to friends, family and colleagues.

This hotel is a good clean hotel. There is 2 different hotels there with 2 pools Both well set out and plenty of sunbeds! there is also choice to eat in snack bar or restuarant. they try to give you chioce but they have to take in to account of many different countries people taste. Overall this hotel does a good job and is in a great resort of san antonio. Also Check out great local pubs the best one is trevors mini golf bar!
