The Auramar Beach Resort stands just metres from the beach in sunny Albufeira. One of the most luscious, green, picturesque and fascinating locations in the Algarve, this hotel is roughly a 10 minutes walk from Albufeira’s centre which is a historical fishing town, now also the tourist capital of south Portugal. The guest rooms are clean and spacious with all of the modern amenities required for a comfortable stay. The hotel has a great range of leisure facilities for both active types and those wanting to relax, with tennis and pitch green on one hand, or the more laid-back Turkish bath and Jacuzzi on the other. Guests are invited to take a stroll on the magnificent beach before settling into the hotel’s musical and artistic entertainment program. For guests who just can’t bring themselves to leave, the hotel also offers itself as the venue for hosting a wedding or baptism.

Good value for money. Close to the Strip, about 10 mins walk. Excellent bars and restaurants. Easy to get taxi to Old Town, 5 Euros each way. Only had B & B and that was fine, wouldnt have fancied half board or fully inc. like some had. Swimming pool was fairly large but freezing cold and quite deep, had a 4' bit sectioned off. Room was adequate, towels changed daily and room cleaned daily. Would stay in this hotel again but would rather be nearer to the Old Town by choice.
