Atlantica Club Porto Bello Beach is located on the southern coast of Kos, roughly three kilometres from Kardamena and seven kilometres from the airport, and is set amidst beautiful landscaped gardens with palm trees, flowers and shrubs, blended with the natural landscape of the island. The rooms are comfortable and beautifully designed with either garden or sea views and the range of facilities available for guests is great. Take a swim in the large free form swimming pool with fountains and a children’s pool, or relax by the poolside in the lounge chairs with sun umbrellas. Get active in the fitness room and the two tennis courts on offer, and enjoy a friendly game of table tennis. There is also a water sports centre on the beach, with introductory scuba diving in the main hotel pool (at an additional charge). Despite all of this, the hotel provides a full daytime activity programme for guests of all ages, a children’s club, evening entertainment, including Greek dancing and cooking lessons, and several nights a week there is a local folklore show for adults and children alike. For those wanting to explore the area further, guests can hire a bike from the bicycle centre and there is a free shuttle bus to Kardamena village. There are a number of restaurants for guests to choose from, including the 'Andromeda' main restaurant serving International cuisine and offering guests fun theme nights with exciting cooking shows on a daily basis. There are also Italian, Greek and Indian options, as well as the 'Kapetanios' fish restaurant, serving a great variety of fish and seafood in buffet style and from the grill. For more relaxed dining the 'Aegean Blue' beach bar and the 'Posidon' pool bar serves soft drinks, cocktails and snacks and ice creams. Guests really are spoilt for choice when it comes to dining at the Atlantica Club Porto Bello Beach. We have just returned from this hotel and were very dissapointed with it. There was no form of entertainment programme, a dining room swarming with flies and wasps, staff that can be only described as unhappy at work. It is listed as 4 star, more like 3 star and thats being kind.
