Hotel restaurant is excellent, great offer for residents & menu very good, compliments to the chef. Excellent wine in the bar, and bar staff were so friendly always helpful gracia Johnathan. Also next door is a very good Spanish Restaurant excellent value for money, good wine and beers. Hotel central to all shops, and Historical places. Malaga is a beautiful city. Will definitely go back

Small centrally located hotel. Nice rooms though mine was fairly small but adequate and very clean. Good air coniditoning in the room excellent in August. Freindly reception desk staff. Within 10 mins walk of all the sights of Malaga. Breakfast menu was a bit limited to rolls and ham etc. but p[lenty of other local places nearby if you go room only. Only little compliant was the front room was a bit noisy in the early morning when those spanish bin lorries come round. Other than this I recommend it .

The Atarazanas is a good hotel in a great location at an excellant price with friendly staff:all the reception staff spoke Spanish, English and German. The rooms are comfortable and clean with TV (get a room overlooking the street if you want to people watch). In various directions you are within a 5 minutes walk (max) of the train station (from the Airport), the Cathedral, Picasso's museum and home, the 'Heart of Tourist Malaga' (the pedestrianised shopping/restaurant areas),as well as El Cortes Ingles-the Spanish Department Store and the Malaga Tourist Bus stop. Next to the hotel is a very friendly very Spanish restaurant (reasonable prices for Tapas, fish, beer and wine) and a small supermarket, selling most of the things that you want. Remember = Great location, reasonable cost, comfortable hotel.

Great location, opposite the Atarazanas market, and a short walk from the old town. The room was lovely, clean, pleasantly decorated and the bathroom new and with a power-shower. Excellent value for money. The staff on reception were cheerful and helpful and the wine in the bar was delicious and cheap! I shall definitely be going again, Malaga is a much under-rated destination.

You will be hard pushed to find a better location.  We are regular visitors to Malaga and each visit brings new appreciations, including this lovely hotel.  The staff were friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. The hotel was spotless with VERY comfortable beds.  Also excellent value for money.  (NOTE:  We usually go through alpharooms and this was the first time we had to pay in full at time of booking.) Rate 4 because we stayed on a B&B basis and you should be careful not to eat more than a croissant with Tea or Coffee.  "Continental" is not specified at time of booking.  Also would love to have tried restaurant as there was a great offer for residents, but it did not open until 8.30 in the evening and there was no menu available to study until opening.  We would definitely recommend.

Fantastic Hotel in the heart of the city great value for money great staff and very clean, ask for room at front nice to watch the world go by, take the train to marbella or cadiz very easy to get around, or stay in the city to shop, eat or beach, everthing is so near to this Hotel, the only thing i would say is the breakfast is in the price but if you have more than 1 piece of toast or more than 1 cup of coffee you get charged extra, which we were not aware of, but we would recommend this hotel to everbody and would stay there again.

The hotel was great, staff very friendly and ideally situated in the heart of Malaga.  The hotel had a very modern feel to it but with great original features.  The bathroom was a nice size and the shower was fantastic (it certainly woke you up in the mornings).  Malaga itself is a place not to be missed.  It has everything, great shopping, culture and a beach.  We will definately be returning to Malaga and we will also definately be returning to the hotel Atarazanas.

Excellent value for money hotel.  Centrally located with everthing within walking distance including the historic centre, beach, nightlife and travel out of town.  Rooms clean and comfortable, staff pleasant.  Only reason for not giving it a 5 score is that the bar was closed all weekend for some reason.

Malaga itself has plenty to keep you entertained, couple this with surprisengly low prices for food and drink etc. and you have a great city break distanation.

A recently renovated hotel. Rooms are very clean and simply decorated. Great location right by Malaga Market and only a short walk from the historic centre. Good beds and linen.
We had a back room which was very quiet but try and avoid front rooms on the main street as they can be noisy. Also available rooms which open onto a light well - very quiet, but not my cup of tea!
Highly recommended, Thank you

Very clean, comfortable hotel right in the centre of the city.  Good value for money and quiet, considering the position.  We saw other hotels in the vicinity we had considered and definitely made the right choice.  Staff friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

What a hidden gem!  We were only looking for somewhere reasonably priced to stay for one night and this hotel exceeded all our expectations.  Traditionally attractive outside, the interior was modern and spotlessly clean.  Whilst not huge, our room felt spacious thanks to its clever, uncluttered design.  The receptionists were uniformly helpful and actually smiled!

Where this hotel really scores is in its location.  Just a short walk from the beautiful pedestrian boulevards of Malaga old town, we were free to explore at our leisure, strolling down alleyways spotting enticing tapas bars and shops.

We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to book it again for a night at the end of our holiday.

The moral of the story is: make your reservation through alpharooms - the price we got online was far better than the one we got when standing in the hotel, booking direct!

Nice clean hotel. Easily positioned near bus routes from airport. Nearby to nice shops and restaurants. Comfortable accomodation. Although can be noisy if you have a room onto the road. Staff very freindly and helpful. Would use it again.

This hotel is in a traditional looking building but is very modern inside. It has a nice restaurant and bar on the ground floor serving breakfast, lunch and evening meals. There was also a lift. The room itself was simple and very clean with an ensuite and air conditioning. There was also a mini fridge (not stocked)and television, but only with spanish channels. There is a public car park opposite which is handy as the hotel does not have its own. The hotel is in a great position for a shopping trip or exploring the old town tourist attractions, just a 10 minute walk to the Alcazaba etc.
