A fair assessment

Once we found the hotel, (very poorly signposted off the main road), we felt that for a 4* hotel it offered reasonable facilities, decor was pleasant, rooms were large but dated, food and staff were excellent, pools good, but beach was the big let down, no sand to speak of and rubbish everywhere.

This hotel was amazing and i have been there 4 times with my mum, dad and sister. It never ceases to amze me how wonderful and lovely the people are. i definately recommend it...

Review of 'Atalaya Park'

Pleasant, spacious room. Food (HB) was of a very high standard with plenty of choice. Big discount on the green fees at the hotel's nearby golf courses with regular free shuttle bus service to those courses. A very good hotel in a relatively peaceful location (for the Costa del Sol).

Nice hotel at a reasonable price for the quality, lovely location by the sea.
A little difficult to find after a long journey, the signs on the main road are lost in a plethora of billboards! but once there it was worth it.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly with my faltering Spanish which they seemd to aprreciate even though they spoke good English.
Breakfast was very good and the waiting staff friendly.
The Don Quijote restaurant was quite pricey and the waitress not particularly cheerful, she also charged someone else's meal to our room!
The rooms were clean and of good size although the bathroom was tired with chipped tiles and sanitary ware.
All in all good value and I wish I had time to try the golf the course. Maybe sometime in the future?
