hotel clean .maid sevice everyday .sunbathing and swimming pool on roof of hotel very good .5 mins from beach and in centre of lloret .food was more catered for germans and europeans than british .if u are on a budget this hotel is ideal

Very Good Hotel, excellent position, 2 mins from bus station 5 min from the beach. Nice friendly staff who speak english, very good - every day different dishes, about five different kind of main meals and plenty of sallads and desserts, air conditions in every room

this hotel was recommended by my brother and his partner who have stayed there. the hotel itself is very nice indeed, with pool on the roof which is a suntrap. maid service excellent and staff very helpful and friendly. the only criticism is the food. very very bland and repetitive. not very good at all so if you want to stay here i recommend just getting b&b. its not worth spending more money getting half board. i spoke to one of the waiters about the food and he said that the manager tells them what to cook and it seems that its about the cheapest food he can buy he will serve it. hotel very good but please tell the manager to upgrade and come into line with the food standards. resort is very nice but not a lot to do there. no live music, no karaoke but plenty of bars with big screen tv's with football if you like that kind of thing. lloret de mar could do a lot better and give a lot more to tourists if it tried. boat trips to tossa are a must as they are relaxing. beach ok but plenty of shingle. overall the resort is a nice place to stay for a few days. i wish that bars would stop ripping people off with the price of alcohol too. if you want a good place to eat there is a kebab house just round the corner from the hotel by the 10 pin bowling alley. very good pork kebabs.

We had a lovely holiday in this really nice hotel. It is clean and comfortable, the staff are friendly and efficient and for the rate you pay, the food is excellent - fresh and plentiful and a good assortment. There is entertainment most nights and the atmosphere is very nice with all age groups from pensioners, teenager and little kids made most welcome. The only small downside was the noise some nights- as you are located right in the town centre ( which has it's advantages too!) it means you here the revellers at night. We just made sure we had a couple of glasses of the hotel's own vino tinto before bed time and we slept soundly! All in all a great deal.

stayed at Astoria Park in June..very very noisy until the early hours,Its set just off the main street and is aimed at young people in my view...Food was basic and if you like foreign food this is for you......Can not fault the staff..Again we got a great deal using Alpharooms........If you dont like walking this hotel is smack bang in the centre of Lloret....In place for the footy is the Queen Vic with its GIANT outside T.V.Screen.................

Our review of 'ASTORIA PARK' in Lloret de Mar

As we arrived to the hotel, it all looked very nice. They have two lifts, so that, if you didn't want to walk to the 5. floor, you could ride the elevator. Very good :)
The service there was also good, and the rooms were every day cleaned - also if the room was VERY wasted!! Hehe... And most of the staff understood english and german!
The breakfast/lunch/dinner was not so good... We had expected more to choose from and food of a better quality. Therefore we ate out every day (except from the first one)
But all in all it was a great holiday, and the hotel is VERY GOOD located. You have the beach approximately 5 minutes away, and everything else is also reachable within short time. They also have a small pool at the roof, with a nice view.
I would recommend this, if you are young and just want to party!!

clean bright hotel good reception great bar good staff rooms clean & airconditioned thank god.
breakfast more than adequate,very central with no hills to climb,all in all I will try to re-book THE ASTORIA PARK on my next visit and I will recommend it to others
