Beautiful hotel in beautiful Rome
21 May 2008
Spent 4 nights in this hotel on our first visit to Rome and was not disappointed. Staff very curteous and helpful, rooms tastefully decorated and well equiped and the location is very central. The breakfasts were excellent and set us up for each long and tiring day sight seeing. Rome is a beautiful city, a bit pricey but worth it. Would recomend staying at the Artemide as a great base from which to explore Rome.

Easter in Roma

Excellent hotel! great location, staff very pleasant and helpful - we arrived soaking wet at half eleven in the morning and we were checked in straigt away. Free mini bar /toiletries/glass of wine in the bar / great breakfast - inc bacon and eggs. I asked for a quiet room and got one ( room 411) Perfect location, metro 5 mins away. Couldn't recommend it more highly! Near to plenty of bars and restaurantsand all sights so easy to walk to - Rome is beautiful and not a rip off ( read this and weep Prague!)

Fantastic hotel in great location, short walk to metro/hop on-off bus and alot of the attractions. Staff very helpful and friendly and buffet breakfast was lovely.
Free Mini bar in room was also a bonus.
I would definately book this hotel again.
Irish Bar on the corner is great.

Review Of Artemide

Great Location, on the main nazionale which has fab shops and restaurants. Bar on the corner is great. Room was disappointing, bare walls no pictures and no view our outlook was to a bleak shaft of office workers so we kept the window and curtains closed. The beds are very rock solid and needed to ask for extra pillows to compensate. On the up side, the reception staff are extremely professional and freindly. The breakfast is a good start to the day.Free minibar in the room is a good perk and refreshed daily. A welcome beer after a long walk around the city.

Great location. Friendly and very clean. Rooms small but perfectly formed. We asked for quiet room and thats what we got but noise from other rooms showers was quite loud but thats the only critiscism apart from the beds being nearly too hard- def orthopedic- and we like a firm bed usually!Good perk having free drinks and snacks. Good breakfast but have had better in other cities in cheaper hotels. Overall a good base for Rome. In general-disappointed with restaurants in Rome and there seemed to be less variety than in other capital cities- but nevertheless i do love the city.

Excellent! Great location to discover Rome from. If you fancy sticking a street map in your back pocket, as we did, and search out a lot of the sites on foot then this is ideal. As for the less energetic, don't worry you'll be within a few minutes walk from all public transport which will shuttle you next to all of Rome's glory for the price of a beer. You'll also find yourself stepping out the doors to a great selection of shops that cater for all bubgets. The staff here are sound types and will help with whatever you need. One small gripe would be the the breakfast.A bit of a fry up would have been the icing on this hotels cake but don't let that put you off as there is still a good selection of food on offer. You can get cheaper in Rome but why take a chance! Enjoy.
