Great hotel
30 May 2008
The Arlecchino is an excellenet choice for the price. We travelled from Trevisco Airport, making this an excellent location (as the hotel is only 2 minutes away from the airport bus stop). Rooms were small, views excellent, breakfast good and staff friendly. It takes 30 minutes to get to St Marks Square on a water bus (faster at night). Overall a great choice.

Arlecchino
22 February 2008
We just got back yesterday from Venice. We stayed at the Arlecchino. We were told to get the bus from Marco Polo airport which we did. After getting off the bus the hotel is 2 minutes walk away. It looks a bit shabby from the outside but to be honest nearly every building in Venice does. On arrival the staff were very helpful. Our room was spacious with a double bed, a single and also a sofa bed if it was needed, it was decorated in typical Venicain style. I think it would have been a little cramped if the sofa bed was open but we didn't need it. The bathroom was large enough with everything you need and a very good hairdryer. There were always lots of fresh clean towels. What struck me most was how clean the hotel was. The room was immaculate and it was cleaned everyday - they even put my sons cuddly toy on his pillow every day! The breakfast was adequate and even my fussy son managed to eat a good breakast every day. The hotel staff were always polite and always spoke to you. The canal is on 2 sides of the hotel so you have great views. Rialto bridge and San Marco are all well signposted and very easy to get to. Any questions we had for the staff they always were happy to help. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are so many great places to eat close by there is no need for it. We are planning a trip back later in the year and we will most certainly be booking this hotel again. You couldn't ask for better.

Hotel Arlecchino
12 January 2008
We stayed here for 7 nights and were very happy. Our room was clean, spacious and had a classic Venetian feel to the decor. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was nothing to write home about but was adequate. There is no bar or restaurant but plenty of places to go nearby. A great location for the airport bus and the waterbuses for the Grand Canal and islands. Rialto is a very picturesque 20 min walk away.

Review of Arlecchino.
28 November 2007
Great little Hotel, was clean tidy with helpfull staff. We we're all delighted to get off the bus from airport to spot the hotel straight away. With a very good but quiet location we would stay there again if ever in Venice. Great value with good breakfast and fab canal views from our small, clean rooms which were very warm and cosy. We had a few problems with our friends room, which was resolved by the staff and with a complementary bottle !

Hotel dosesn't look much from the outside but it is a pleasant surprise on the inside. Decor is quaint. Rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast is continental. Located beside the bus and train station so it is easy to find especially if you arrive in the evening. Close to terminus for the water buses and plenty of restaurants in the vincity.

Review of 'ARLECCHINO'
04 January 2007
We enjoyed a short break in Venice in between Christmas and New Year 2006. Having used AlphaRooms previously I was confident to book with them again and we were not disappointed. Upon arrival at Treviso airport, we took the ACVO bus to Venice(9 Euros return and the timetable is linked with Ryanair flight arrivals/departures). Following a pleasant 1 hour bus journey, we arrived at the main bus terminus at the Piazzale Roma in Venice. We were delighted to find that the hotel was within sight of the Bus terminus. Our hotel room (with ensuite bathroom) was a little on the small side but nonetheless, it was pleasantly decorated, clean (serviced daily)and very comfortable. At the end of the day it was fit for purpose in terms of our requirements as we simply wanted an inexpensive central base for sightseeing. For those transferring from the airport by bus into P.Roma, it is a perfect location as you dont need to 'hunt' for your hotel upon arrival in Venice but equally, you are close to all the main sights of Venice either by foot or by waterbus. In terms of value for money, location etc, we would not hesitate to book in there again on our next trip to Venice.

Review of 'ARLECCHINO'
30 January 2006
We went for a short weekend break to Venice (27/29 January 2006). The hotel was very reasonably priced for a cheap weekend stay. We could not believe our luck when we stepped off the coach, the hotel was within view of the bus depot.
We had a top floor room which was very nicely decorated, newly refurbished I believe, which was lovely and bright and the fitting were of a good standard. The room was on the small side, but it was very cosy and warm as the weather outside was very cold. The view from our room was very nice, directly overlooking two canals.
The bathroom, although on the small side, was very clean and adequate. Hence, we did not go away to spend a lot of time in the bathroom! Even though the location of the hotel was near the bus depot, we did not hear any noise at all. The hotel was very well situated, close to all the amenaties without having to walk miles. The dining room was spotless and the food was plentiful - Continental Breakfast included). We had no need to see much of the hotel staff as we had no problems at all. The staff we did meet were pleasant and helpful. The Reception was manned at all times and again were very pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at the Arlecchino and will definitely be going back next time in Venice. I would like to thank you Alpharooms for providing this hotel at such a reasonable price.

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel, which is 5 min. from the Piazzale Roma, where the bus terminus is. You can walk to pretty well everywhere in Venice from the hotel, but there is a Vaporetto stop at P.Roma, making for easy travel by canal. The hotel is right on the corner of 2 canals, but quiet at night. My small single room with ensuite facilities was clean, comfortable and in good decorartive state. Continental breakfast was included and there was plenty to eat - great coffee too! All the staff were pleasant, helpful and spoke good English. I would certainly stay here again.
