The Ariston Hotel was built in 1900 and renovated in 2004 and is located on a quiet side street in the centre of Rome, only minutes away from the Santa Maria Maggiore church, with the Termini station just a short stroll away. The hotel facilities offer an entrance hall with a 24 hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange facility, a cloakroom, a lift and a car park for those arriving by car. Lovely friendly staff. Breakfast was fine although had to queue on first morning. Bedroom great, quiet and dark. Quite quirky hotel. Would generally avoid termini area but at least its central.
