What our customers say
The Aris Garden is close enough to make Rome easily accessible, yet far enough away to avoid any real loud noise or other disturbances.
I would advise pre-booking a transfer from the airport to Aris Garden so as you are not stung with a 70Euro Taxi. The rooms were clean and a good size. TV had 2 English speaking channels, which were news channels.
Bathroom was clean and a good size, however you were unable to have a bath, which after a days walking in Rome would have been very welcome.
The staff have an adequate grasp of english, with a couple of staff members being very fluent.
One complaint I would have however is the restaurant in the evening, although myself and my girlfriend only ate there once, the meal was disappointing for the cost, which although average, the food quality did not match the expense. There is a restaurant just around the corner from the hotel which never seemed to be open during out visit, but during the summer I am sure it would be quite busy.
The newsagents around the corner sells tickets for the bus and metro which is useful, and there is a small, but quite expensive shopping complex there aswell.
Buses run from around the corner quite regularly, and will drop you off at the Metro Station, the buses run until midnight.
Overall the stay at the Aris Garden was good, and for anyone who is visiting Rome but wants a quiet night and doesnt mind getting the bus and metro everyday, I would recommend this to you. Families with children however, may find the hotel quite limited in its facilities, as it seemed to be primarily used by business men and women.
It is certainly a hotel I would consider staying at again in the future.
