Talamanca is a quiet location with only a small selection of beach bars and restaurants, most of the bars were spanish or german speaking staff with limited English. The Argos was a standard 4 star hotel, very clean and room staff were helpful with any request for towels or toiletries readily issued, the rooms were the normal units for short stay locations. The reception and bar staff could pick up a few tips from the other members of the staff in regards to being a bit more helpful in regards to directions and information on local places. The facilities were of general standard with outdoor pool with jacuzzi and the same indoor facilities, table tennis, pool table etc. Taxi to the airport was 20 euros and the small ferry boat to Ibiza town is available at the marina (2 min walk from the hotel) cost for 2 adults was 6.20 euros return.
Overall the hotel was in a nice quiet location with a seaview room overlooking an idylic bay. Good value for money.

Talamanca is a wonderful place (taxi from airport less than 20 euros), Ibiza Town just a short watertaxi ride away (3 euros return)with a wonderful beach, gently shelving sea and you can have a totally relaxing time, but life is on the doorstep if you want it. Hotel Argos was not quite so wonderful, though it is hard to pinpoint anything specifically wrong. It is a typical modern hotel, probably more a three star than the awarded four, totally bland but nothing wrong with it either. Staff were impersonal and for the most part ignored you, but when you wanted something they obliged willingly enough. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable without being anything special. Rooms were kept spotlessly clean as was the whole hotel. Brilliant location right in the centre of things, just a few minutes walk wherever you wanted to go. Whilst there is nothing outstanding about the hotel, it was perfectly acceptable and I would stay here again.

Third time at the Argos,if your looking for an easy holiday the Argos has got to be the place to stay. Take a taxi from the airport and 15 minutes later your at the hotel (15euro)
Very clean, hotel with great views around the bay of tallamanca Breakfast is well presented with a good variety of foods Staff are well managed and very helpfull
Nightlife is what you make of it, you have pacha 500 yds down the road but you don't hear the music at night or take a taxi and go people watching in Ibiza town (5euro)
If your hungry, try the beach bar next to the hotel for food up to 9pm at night, great meat kebabs. Or go up market and posh - try Sidney's in the harbour about 5 mins walk from the hotel, you never know who you might see there? not one for name dropping, but Linda did say " there's Karl Lagerfield on that table", price's at Sidneys are only about 3euro more than what you pay in Ibiza town but the quality and reception you recieve exceeds your expectations
Overall, a great hotel that you will only appreicete if you try it, were back in September for the 4th time and before you quote " these people must be boring" no were not,we just appreciete good value for money.

The Argos is a very clean, friendly and comfortable hotel with good accommodation. The breakfasts were good as were the buffet lunches which we sometimes went for. I would recommend that any new visitors choose a sea view room which is well worth the extra cost. Talamanca itself is a very pretty resort with a marina and exclusive restaurants and is great for people who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of busier resorts.
