The Ardoe Hotel is a luxurious modern hotel, beautifully crafted from an imposing 19th century mansion house and inspired by the royal residence of Balmoral Castle, a few miles upstream. Its ideal location puts the hotel only three miles from the centre of the vibrant city of Aberdeen. Fantastic setting and facilities. Very nice, spacious, comfortable room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was lovely. Only downside is the price for sundries during your stay. £4.70 for a coke & a mineral water was a bit steep. Also, if you don't get a rate with breakfast included, it costs £15 per person to add this in.
