Review of 'Ardmore'
30 November 2006
Interestingly the address of the Hotel is not the actual road it is accessed from. But hey, the more observant of us would have spotted the Hotel before turning left onto Tolka Valley Road.
Having parked and then registered with the very friendly Receptionist we were advised of the secure underground Car Park.
A very useful facility, although there is a large car park next to the Hotel.
The Hotel itself is bright, clean, tidy and the staff very friendly. As this was our annual Christmas Present delivery run we only ate two breakfasts at the hotel during our two night stay. Both fine, plenty of toast, a good fresh pot of tea and a splendid piping hot Full Irish.
The room was pleasantly spacious and well presented with a good supply of tea, coffee and sugar and everything worked.
The temperature of the hotel in general and the room in particular was spot on for us. More often than not feel like hot house flowers!
This is a hotel to be recommended for its traditional friendly atmosphere, good food and happy staff.
We would certainly stay here again.
