This is our second visit to this hotel the first time was 3 years ago for my birthday. We were so impressed with the service on our last trip that we decided to book it for our 6th wedding anniversary. The hotel staff did everything to make our stay comfortable. Upon arrival 12.30 we were checked in to an Executive Suite we only paid for a double room they also gave us a fruit bouquet and a bottle of Champers. Being on the executive floor we had priveleges of the free drinks and snacks from the executive lounge plus unlimited access on the internet.
The other reason for booking this hotel is for the spa facilities there are not many hotels in Budapest that have the termal water in the hotel. This is the whole reason for booking this hotel. The sound of going to a public bath really does not appeal to me. The Hev runs frequently and we went into the City for dinner and for brunch to the Gundel on the Sunday. We enjoyed the spa facilities and treatments. The cherry on the cake for us was when they let us check out at 2pm. All in all a really relaxing trip and I will definitely go back to this hotel again we don't mind staying a bit out of town!
