Another excellent stay
01 August 2008
Well one year on since my last visit and I can honestly say.. yet again.. had a brilliant time. The staff have always been polite and very helpful, all 5 times I have stayed at the Aquasol and the new entertainment organiser Leona was excellent for the kids during the day and the adults in the evening. We even took part in some of the events during our week there. I will be going back again and again. Well done to all the staff at the Aquasol and see you again real soon. ps: a big thank you to Alpharooms too for a very smooth booking.

Value for money
13 June 2008
Stayed in S/C apartment 2nd week in June, nice room but a bit noisy as overlooked fairly busy road. Good entertainment and spot on for location. Beware of beach touts who give you scratch cards and tell you you've won a holiday. At worst you'll lose several thousand pounds and at best you'll forfeit 4 to 5 precious hours of your holiday -it's a scam!! Would go again and would definitely use Alpharooms again, excellent service.

Well worth the money
04 June 2008
Stayed towards the end of may - start of june. The weather wasn't too good but the appartment was brilliant. You would never be bored there as the entertainment is non - stop. Big pool, arcade, shops, bars and the place had a lovely atmosphere. Although there wasn't lifts and there was a lot of narrow steps to climb, it really was a perfect holiday for the whole family!
At night it has a beautiful strip to walk along the beach with plenty of restraunts and entertainment. Well worth the money!

short break holiday
05 May 2008
5 night stay beginning of May was an ideal short break. Hotel spotless, gorgeous pool area and landscaped gardens. Perfect time of year, not too rowdy but still plenty of life - entertainment in full swing. Nothing worse than the feeling that you are too early in the season and the place is just 'waking up'. We stayed in the self catering appartments at the back and my one criticism is that there are no lifts and without a bloke in our party to help with the luggage up the 67 steps, I really don't know how I would have managed. Feel sorry for elderly people having to cope. So glad I didn't pick this hotel for the trips with my elderly parents.

not for families
04 May 2008
I am not sure if it is the time of year but this hotel is more for hens and stags than families. On the day we were leaving 7 groups arrived and it was a bit rowdy around the pool.
In addition upon arrival at the hotel we had to encounter a very steep ramp (and I mean steep) into the hotel which is totally unsuitable for a pushchair or anyone in a wheelchair. Once inside it actually became worse as there are only steps and no ramps so we had to carry a buggy and our suitcases around until we found our apartment which although very nice was up and down two further sets of stairs.
The baby pool was 50cm high throughout so no good for a 2 year old and both this and the main pool were so cold that no-one went in it.
That said the surrounding areas and restaurants were nice (Rossini's, El Mecca and Viceroys are all highly recommended )with plenty of bars with entertainment.
Would I come back with my family...no. With a group...yes

Short Break
03 May 2008
I have just returned from a 4 night break at the Aquasol apartments and have thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The staff there were pleasant and helpful and the reception and entertainment staff desire an extra thank you for there hard work in making this short break memorable. The location was brilliant and we were very close to the beach and all amenities. The maids could have visited more often though! Overall I am a very pleased customer and would definitely return there.

Good value for money
09 April 2008
Just got back from a 6 night stay at the Aquasol, brilliant location, just couple of minutes from the beach and short walk into palma nova and magaluf. Staff at the hotel we found to be miserable and some rude.. and there was never anyone on reception! apart from leona the entertainment organiser she was lovely and very helpfull. Beware its not cheap!, average cost of a small glass of coke at the pool bar was £2 only had one meal at the hotel which left a lot to be desired. Room was never cleaned (inch of dust under the beds) only towels changed twice and they never changed the sheets for our entire stay. All this said we still had a great holiday and it is good value for money.

Great value for money
30 March 2008
This is the third hotel we have stayed in in the area and we were the most impressed. The pool area is great - if a little cold at this time of year. The entertainment was good - kept the kids happy. As we were finishing the stay there were lots of single gender parties arriving for the weekend so it could be noisy - we luckily escaped the worst of it but you have to expect it in the area. TIP: walk 6-7 mins to the left of the hotel and use the supermarket (Capribo?). It's much cheaper for drink/ food and plenty of choice.

good value for money !
29 March 2008
Me and my family only stayed at aquasol 4 nights and it was excellent and great value for money, the hotel is situated only a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to Magaluf . The staff are very friendly with us and the kids and made our stay very enjoyable, especially the entertainment manager Leona who gave a range of live entertainment every night. The hotel has a big pool which is perfect for the kids, also food available-but cannot comment as we didn't try it. It has has access to the internet and a games room. Cannot fault at all and will be booking again soon .

22 February 2008
We were only staying at the Aquasol for 3 nights, and found it warm, clean and ideal for a wide range of people. Mallorca is quiet at this time of year but the Aquasol is close to all the spots that are open and is a cheap taxi ride away or leisurely walk to Magaluf, Palma Nova front is acouple of hundred metres away. Recommended!!

Hi! We arrived just hours after opening for this year! We've had a fantastic week and our little girl sobbed at having to come home! Everyone was very kind and helpful and Leona the entertainment manager is great fun! There were games in the morning and entertainment in the evening for everyone. Was very clean and only a very short walk away from everything. We are going back for def! Thank you and what a credit!

Great Holiday
28 October 2007
Booked through Alpharooms, great value holiday and a great place to stay. The hotel itself is very clean and the food is decent. The staff are more than helpfull especially the entertainments manager, Andy who went out of his way stop me sulking! This was the second visit to Auasol in a 7 month period and will be booking for next year as we speak. The safe family enviroment makes it a good place for kids to go and play. 10/10 for us. thanks Aquasol.

brill holiday, cant wait to go again
27 October 2007
we went to the Auquasol on the 11 - 18 opf Sep 2007, it was a brillaint holiday, the staff wur really lovely accept one bloke who was there in the evenings on the reception as he chucked us out of the hotel on our first night, for being a little noisy, was no need for it, he did let us back in the next morning though, the rooms wher really nice and clean, the hotel is more a family hotel not a young group of friends type, we went with 10 others and got told off a lot, palma nova is gorgeous i love the place and its only a 5 min walk to Magaluff which is ideal, we all had a excellent holiday and are returning in Nov for the BCM party, a must go holiday xxx

17 July 2007
I went to the hotel as as part of a gorup of 4 girls all 17-18 years old. The hotel is ideally situated only a 10 mins walk into Magaluf and about 4 euros for a taxi ride. Palma Nova centre is about a 2 minutes walk where there are plenty of cheap restaurant and cafes and a few bars. The apartments were big in a size with a balcony and the pool area was really nice. Overall the apartments were veru clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Would definately return.

Aquasol
09 July 2007
I based this booking on the reviews of others and i wasn't dissappointed. The Hotel is clean, the staff pleasant and helpful as were our fellow holiday makers. This Hotel is occupied mainly by youngsters which at first concerned me as we had taken our 3 year old grandson, but i was impressed by everyone's behaviour. There wasn't any rowdiness, noise or any other problems.
The location is ideal just a short walk away from restaurants, beach, shops and bars.
Would definately go again.
One other point i've never used apharooms before, and you are never quite sure how things are going to be when picking something from the internet - from start to finish they have provided me with a first class service. The transfers were exceptional and the whole booking experience made life very easy. I would definitely book with alpharooms again - very professional company. Well done.

This was my 4th stay at the Aquasol (Feb 24-Mar 3rd 07) I liked the improvements made to the complex since my last visit in 2000. We had a great time & have already decided to return next year. Staff were superb and we enjoyed the company of fellow holiday makers while there, hopefully all returning for the same week in 2008. I can't wait.

Amazing AQUASOL
04 March 2007
What an amazing place to stay !!!!! The AQUASOL deserves 10 gold stars.Everyone of the staff was so helpful and friendly and the top of the tree, the icing on the cake, was ANDY DIXON the entertainments officer. There cannot be a nicer person, more organised person anywhere in the world. If there is a drawback it is the fact that there are NO lifts, which when you come back late at night to the top floor doesa become a bit of a drag. But this was a SUPER - WOW - PLAVE to be WELL DONE AQUASOL

Review of 'Aquasol'
31 October 2006
We went to the Aquasol for a short weekend break as a group of 8 in the last weekend of October. The accomodation was ideal for our requirements and the Location was great. Walking distance to restaurants, pubs and shops or later on or for those that don't want to walk..less than a 5 Euro taxi ride into Magaluf.
Wouldn't recommend for those who have trouble getting around or with young children in push chair as there are many stairs and no lifts ! - unless however you can request a ground floor apt. before arrival.
Also just as an aside, quite a few places around and about were already closed for the end of season, with most closing on the last night of our stay. Still a great choice for a break away !

25 October 2006
We had a fantastic time. Hotel was perfectly situated to get to beach all all other amenities.
Rooms had everything you could possibly need in them and were nice and clean.
The pool was good and has a seperate part for the children. The only fault i could find was that on two occasions the pool wasnt very clean with lots of leaves and twigs floating it it. I realise this is difficult to prevent as there were trees around it. The last two days of our stay it was much better and had been cleaned.
Enterainment of an evening was also very good. Something for everyone, starting with kids at 8.30 going through til late for the adults.
All of the staff were very friendly and always willing to help in any way they could.
We would definately book to use this hotel again.

Just had a great week at the aquasol. The staff are very friendly and helpfull, although a couple of the bar staff need to smile now and again, (perhaps it had been a long season). The pool was very clean and refreshing, all other areas were clean and tidy. the food was good ( great morning sausages ). I stayed there on half board, with wife, mum and 24yearold son who made great use of the local friendly bars, leaving to go there after the evening entertainment finished at the hotel. We had seven nights of good entertainment with shows including a hypnotist / magician / a 2 guys dressed as funny girls but all good clean family fun. I must say well done to Yvonne and Andy the entertainment team who were very friendly and professional in what they do. I would like to go back to the Aquasol again just to get my own back on Andy who "somehow" on the last night had me sweeping the stage singing "my old mans a dustman" Thanks for a great week

The hotel was excellent, clean, tidy, well equipped for self catering.
Prices a little steep but we found a supermarket ( Caprabo )round the back of the Hotel where the prices were very cheap.
The room was serviced regular with fresh sheets, towels and the bins were emptied daily.
The entertainment was great and great for kids and adults alike.
The Friday night bar b is a must,it was well worth the money and there was plenty of food served to you by a waiter including a Sangria Demo and then a big jug of Sangria to your table.
The pool was cleaned every day and all sunbeds were put away at night to make the pool area safer and more attractive when the pool lights were lit.
The only complaint from the whole week was that the bar staff were not very friendly and were often made to feel uncomfortable.
This was our first visit to Palma Nova and we will return next year,to the Aquasol.

Got back from Aquasol Majorca on 25th July 2006, and we had a brilliant week, the room was clean and tidy and had brilliant air conditioning which is just what you need this time of year. The staff both at the apartments and the reps were very helpful and the pool and surrounding area was nice. Heard alot of people moaning about these apartments, however after our 18th visit to this area of majorca we felt this accomodation was as good if not better than others we had stayed at. At the end of the day you get what you pay for and if you want five star accomodation you should book it, but this was definitely worth its 3 stars as rated.

The entertainment was wonderful and we didn't need to leave the site at all.
