was very scared after reading the comments about being broken in to.but was fine.collected keys from hotel down road because we arrived late at night.tried asking for 200 the 150 but we managed to give 100.which we got back no probs..the room was very clean and the breakfast was served by madmunks next to the hotel.which was lovely.small breakfast and choice of tea.coffe.or orange juice.nice friendly people..never had any noise of neighbours was nice and quiet!no one on reception ever.but had no probs so didnt need them..not to far from centre about 10 min walk.. would reccomend!!

Had studio app. Had everything you needed. It was spotless. Nice and peacefull. large balcony with great views.highly recommend it.cant wait to go bk.

service was great, reported a faulty toaster and it was replaced with a brand new one immediatly. room was clean and quite large, equipped with 2 hobs a microwave, a coffee maker, and a toaster. room faced the sun all day, which was perfect as we had a balcony. no real problems to report. only niggle was a bit of a walk to pick up the keys as the office was shut when we arrived.

pool was closed, no reception, porter was never there to help, no tv, no maid service for a 4 day stay so no clean towels and we had to buy own toilet paper as i never saw the porter once to ask. 150 euro breakages deposit, which i had to pay with card as the office was closed the day we left. was refunded 3 days after my return. would not reccommend or stay here again.

Good location, clean but basic apartment with spectacular views on top floor. Room serviced twice in a ten day stay.

Just back from a long wkend in the aquarium 2... What can i say we had no complaints. the rooms where spotless and a lot bigger than we expected. We where on a hens and it was exactly what we needed.. somewhere to lay our heads down for an hr or two. The pool was lovely and really had no complaints.The mad munk bar is a great little place. Martin and all the staff really looked after us and i would recommend going here to anyone. Really people who complain about these apartments are just looking for something to winge about. No issues with deposits paid back onto the cards the day after we got home.. all in all a great wkend and Benidorm is great.. the nitelife is crazy.. Just what you want for a hen wkend..

not once in the whole week was the apartment cleaned towels were changed once for dirty ones would have been better keeping towels we had used for three days and also very noisy due to stag&hen parties

Are these reviews really true ?

on arrival we were asked to pay a 150 euro deposit. why i dont know as i dont believe that 150 euros worth of damaged could of been caused. The lifts are so dated that when the door opens, you then have to manually open another door. The lift says its sutiable for 6 people, i think you would fit 4 at a push. The locks on the doors are very dodgy, really struggled to get the key out on the inside and out. the balcony door was so difficult to shut and close. there was my self and mu cousin staying there, both female, therefore both wanted a shower and to wash our hair of a day. There wasnt even enough hot water for one of us to have a shower. I then each day walked 10 mins to y mum and dads hotel to use thiers. when i reported this to reception they simply said that the should be enough hot water and they would look into it........not really good enough at the time. Whilst we were there the people above us were broken into and their money, phone and passports stolen. Neither myself or my cousin felt safe staying there, we are not snobs but at least expect hot water for a shower. I would strongly advise against booking this accommodation. Benidorm is a fantastic place to holiday but you are seriously better off booking somewhere such as Sol Pelicanos.

Not really for young children cheap and cheerful mad monk bar and food underneath very cheap lovely food great staff

I would never ever stay at a place like this again I was ROBBED as we slept,they took everthing ie...Money,Euros,Clothes, Suitcase,Mobile Phones and we still had 3 day to go,it was a nightmare...There is never no one on the recpection,and when i did report it there werent even interested....Holiday From HELL!!! I stayed at the AquriumII with a friend we where ROBBED of everything we had while we slept,Its a Dump there is never anyone on the recpection i would never ever ever stay there again,i still have nightmares to this day,I do Benidorm itself but would never say there again Mr Montgomery (DUNDEE)...

WAS A BIT DISAPPOINTED WHEN WE ARRIVED, ROOM WAS CLEAN BUT VERY BASIC. BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE POOL FROM OUR BALCONY HOWEVER REALISED IT WASNT OUR POOL! AGAIN THE POOL AREA WAS BASIC BUT QUIET WHICH SUITED US. WE STAYED FOR A LONG WEEKEND AND OTHER THAN SOMEONE TAKING A DEPOSIT FROM US WHEN WE ARRIVED WE DIDNT SEE ANY OTHER STAFF THERE THE WHOLE TIME. DIDNT LIKE THE FACT THERE WAS NO RECEPTION. WE WOULD STAY AGAIN FOR A WEEKEND

very cheap, but after reading some poor reviews i was pleasantly surprised at how clean and spacious these apartments are, yes the building is not pretty, but once inside fine, stayed there twice in 2011 & would definitely stay there again

very good apartments, good position, clean and comfortable.

you have to pay for sunbeds 1 euro but they are dearer in other hotels and on the beach good bar under hotel the mad monk very cheap

Cheap and cheerful but well worth what you pay. Close to all amenities so rules out taxis, we are a family of 6 and we all enjoyed it The pub next dorr does a wonderful breakfast

the rooms where clean and tidy, we were on the 18 floor and we had good view, good for the money we paid, you are close to every thing

We hadf to trek to another hotel to collect our keys as we arrived on a sunday, it was about a 10 minute walk which doesnt sound far but lugging cases it was far enough! We also had to leave a 150 euros deposit. When we finally reached the room after taking the slowest lifts in the world to the fourteenth floor we found them to be clean but very very basic. Very poorly equipped! The patio doors didnt lock so a safety deposit box was essential, this costing nearly 30 pounds for the two weeks stay!!! Every time we put the cooker on to boil the kettle the electrics tripped out!!! There was no air conditioning so we slept with the doors open to let some air in, although it was very noisy (maybe air conditioning units from surrounding hotels??) i dnt know and they empty the bins around 1 am which was very noisy. We would return to Benidorm but not to Aquarium II Apartments!!!
