What our customers say

The chance of a last minute low priced flight meant a scramble around web sites to find accommodation which was located close to the sea. Alpharooms site provided the information, and we even risked the 66 bus from the airport (for those prepared to follow you need to alight at the Yumbo Commercial Centre and turn left at The Tourist Information Office down Avda North America - 400m, worth it at only 3 Euros).
The Apolo is certainly well located with views over Maspalomas and easy access to the promenade.  The hotel is well appointed, clean and well furnished, although its relative small size is reflected in the somewhat limited choice of menu and may be slanted towards the predominantly German clientel.
The one disappointing aspect was the lack of matresses for the poolside sunbeds and the non provision of pool towels, surely such items should be standard for 4 star accommodation.
For the real sun worshippers nude bathing seemed to be allowed on the roof terrace, but they didn't seem to mind anybody else joining them for the spectacular views - of the dunes (certainly not the nudes).
The only other noteworthy point is that to get to the beach there are a considerable number of steps to negotiate, so not for those with walking difficulties.
We certainly enjoyed our stay and would be happy to repeat the excercise.
