Regular visitors.
08 June 2008
Regular visitors to the area however first stay in these apartments. Excellent clean accomodation, staff extremely helpful. A car is essential to reap the benefits of this area. Only minor complaint is that the beds and pillows are extremely uncomfortable.

Excellent Apartments
19 January 2008
We stayed here in mid-January when it was very quiet. The apartments are of a good size and are very clean and well-equipped: microwave/grill, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, everything you need whether you are making a full meal or just brewing up. The staff are friendly and helpful.
The only reason I have given the place 4 rather than 5 is because of the location: we had a hire car, but if you didn't have one the bus service is rather sporadic and it is a brisk 25-minute walk to the beach; the area around the apartments is neither really rural nor very urban, and there are only a few small shops within walking distance. In our case our apartment looked out onto the rear of another block less than 20 feet away, so there was no view at all to speak of. Having said that it was great value for money and a very enjoyable holiday all-in-all.

WOW EXCELLENT RECOMMENDED
28 September 2007
We stayed here for the last week of August and the first week of september. We will definately return and this accomodation is highly recomended by us. The appartments are very spacious and clean and have everything that you could want except for a 'dishwasher' (my husband surficed). One thing that is a MUST have is a car. There are a few bars nearby and resturants too all very good but the walk to the beach is about 45 minutes. We hired a car for the full duration, shopped at Lidl in Alberfeira and saved a fortune as the two supermarkets that are closest to the apartments were about 30 minutes walk away and much more expensive. The pools (3) are very clean and there was always swimming space but the sunbeds got full early during our first week, and there is still the 'German' thing going on were people put their towels out and saved beds? Very immature! So we jumped in the car and went to the beach! Loads of room there lol. The staff at Vale De Parra were very friendly and if anything needed attention, it was done in good time. JUST LOVED THE ELECTRIC SHUTTERS! They kept the light and heat and noise out of the apartments. Give this place a go YOU'LL LOVE IT. Very child friendly too! Jan and Ed, Bolton xx

Excellent accommodation
26 September 2007
Spent 12 days Sept 07 and enjoyed the accommodation very much. Best equipped apartment we have stayed in and excellent value..even an automatic washer. We found the beds were very hard though. The complex is situated 6Km west of Albufeira in a village called Vale de Perra and about 2Km from the nearest beach. Car parking is secure so an ideal base for a touring holiday. Although good restaurants and bars nearby it is a bit quiet. Best restaurant is O Girassol and bar The Malibu where Marco will put any Sky sports on you want to see

Excellent Value for Money
17 September 2007
Just returned home. Very spacious clean apartments. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. A bit out of the way but good restaurant/bars in the vicinity. Very peaceful and quiet. Only one negative comment - the beds were like boards!

Even Better
27 July 2007
Second visit in 9 months and, if anything, the Hotel was even better. The area is being slightly developed so there is now a very good Minimarket across the road. Wonderful hotel to stay in.

Review of 'APARTMENTS JARDINS VALE PARRA'
04 October 2006
This is a beautiful hotel - extremely clean - the most well equipped apartment we have ever stayed in. The staff are polite and helpful. Being quite near the end of the season it was very quiet but with 2 pools we sometimes had one to ourselves! We could not fault this accommodation. Yes, it is very much on the outskirts of Albufeira but if you hire a car you get your own, reserved, parking space in the basement garage, all included in the price. First Class holiday.

Review of 'APARTMENTS JARDINS VALE PARRA'
04 October 2006
Just returned from Jardins Vale Parra and have had the most relaxing two weeks holiday. The apartments were huge and had enough equipment for 8 people. The only down side is the loction, took 30 minutes to go to nearest supermarket! a car is a must. A few restaurants near by and also a couple of bars. Both pools very good, most days we had the pools to our selfs, very quiet time. Local people very friendly. You must visit the Zoo Marine, fantastic value for money, water parks also good. Nice area but a bit on the quiet side, great if you just want to chill by the pool

Review of 'APARTMENTS JARDINS VALE PARRA'
29 June 2006
Good standard of accommodation with most mod cons including washing machine & electric kettle. Cleaned on a daily basis. Nice pool and bar/snack bar. Located around 5km from resort town of Albufeira, 1km from Gale beach and 1 km from nearest golf course. Local bus services to Albufeira and Portimaio adequate but finish early evening. Weekend service very infrequent. Car hire recommended - parking available at apartments. Some good restaurants & bars located within walking distance. We visited in mid June for 12 days and the apartments were quite quiet. July and August, according to staff, are extremely busy . A good place for older couples (we're in our 30s) and families with young children - not for party/clubbing lovers!
