It was a great apartment and staff were friendly. Nice quiet area. It was a bit to far up on the strip exstream from the old town. I would go back again and NO HILL to walk. We enjoyed it there.

Apartments were first class and only a five minute walk to all the amenities of the resort, the complex was in a very nice and quite area I would have no hesitation in coming back to these apartments again.

Good apartments in a quiet residencial area of Puerto del Carmen. Friendly staff, lovely pool. 10 minute walk to sea front. BBQ's once a week, snacks and meals served also. Its a shame to have to share this gem, but being back twice now,its worth knowing about.

REALLY only a five minute walk from the beach. Just a 3 minutes walk away from the bustling strip with a vast choice of restaurants and shops, but far enough away not hear any of it! Teens could walk down there without a problem and men could be sent to pick up freshly baked bread for breakfast without moaning (or getting a taxi). Pool was never crowded so no fighting over sun loungers but, down side, if you have tinies there weren't any parasols to keep them out of the sun. Up sides were the coldest beer glasses on the island and the lack of cockroaches! Foam mattresses fine for children under 10, but not a joy for teenagers. We have holidayed in Lanzarote most years for the last 22 and have stayed in many different places. This was one of the best. More comfortable sleeping arrangements for teens though PLEASE! - you don't have to put up with the moaning.....

The bungalows were very clean and tidy, maids came every day.
We were not impressed by the food on site.
The staff were very friendly and willing to help.
It was very quiet at all times.
We will go again but self catering this time.

We stayed here 3 years ago (2003) and we were impressed the first time. I've just got back today from a 2nd visit (June 2006) and my wife and I are still impressed...
This place is small and is ideal for couples or a young family on a budget. Tranfer from the airport in a taxi - it'll cost about 11 euros much cheaper than £15 per person offered by travel companies. You're only ten minutes from the airport, about 5 miles away so no aircraft noise at all. In fact the apartments are in a quiet residential area. You are 5-10 mins walk from the seafront or 2-3 euros in a taxi.
The self catering apartments are set out in a series of detached houses and you can have an upstairs or downstairs 1 bedroom apartment. The gardens around the complex are well maintained. The apts have a maid service approx 4 times a week. The apts are clean and pleasantly laid out. You can rent a safe for your valuables for a small onsite fee.
The kitchen has a 2 ring cooker, a microwave/combi oven, kettle and toaster. You can eat at the breakfast bar or on your balcony.
You have a tv in the living room with only CNN and Eurosport in English. If you have kids its worth taking a portable DVD player or something to keep them amused, but you won't have time to watch telly.
The complex has a shop for your essentials and a Bar/Restaurant. The Chef has been resident for several years and when holiday reps eat there you know the food is good. An English breakfast was 3.20 Euros (£2) and other dishes are good value
The reception staff are great. They are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble.
The 2 pools are clean ( 1 small pool for the little ones ) and surrounded by many comfortable sunbeds at no exta cost.
We'll be back.

Apartments great, recently refurbished. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Can certainly recommend Sergio's freshly cooked paella and his powerful sangria. Ten minute easy stroll to the front so quiet at night to sleep.
December 15 - 22nd pretty quiet everywhere and weather not the best, 4 decent days, but it was cheaper at this time of the year. Would certainly recommend these apartments, plenty of room and well equipped kitchen.

Just arrived home from staying at Hyde Park, really enjoyed our stay.
The apartments were very clean and spacious, the cleaners came each day and all the staff were very friendly.
It was only a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants.
I would definitely book accommodation with alpha rooms again, very good prices and efficient service.

the apts are refurbished,they are clean,daily cleanng,you also have a private balconly which s great if you want to chill.
there is a large pool,lovely bar and restaurant,food is excellent.i was greeted by a very pleasant girl when checking in,she was so helpful when made our stay great,to deal with friendly people,i would hightly recommend staying at hyde park,its a short walk to the shops,beach,and the night life,when ireturn to lanzarote,i will be saying at hyde park.

These apartments have just been refurbished. They are clean and very pleasant. They are a short walk from all amenities in Puerto Del Carmen. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The gardens are extremely well kept as is the swimming pool. The apartments are cleaned daily, with clean towels regularly and bed linen changed weekly. I highly recommend these apartments.
