Review of Antequera Golf Hotel

Have just returned from a week's stay at the Antequera Golf and had a wonderful holiday. The Hotel lives up to its 4 Star rating. Friendly staff and spotlessly clean. The food was first class with excellent choices. Antequera is lovely and very historic. The local people are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here. Had a great deal with Alpha Rooms.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at this hotel. The food and facilities are just as described by the other reviewers. We will be returning later this year.

I could not fault our stay at this hotel. The check in staff were very friendly and helpful and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room overlooked the pool and had all the facilities you would expect from a 4* hotel. Breakfast was a real feast so much to choose from and everything really fresh, unfortunately we were only there for 1 night but I can't recommed it enough.

Antequera golf offers a splendid accomodation for relaxation and
exploration. With an early game of golf before the sun heats up,
afternoon in the excellent pool area. The buffet restuarant provided a relaxed un pressured meal which changed nightly.
The staff were helpful accomodation spotless with the added extras which normally cost ie. Safe in room free plus all toiletries from shaving/toothbrush/shoeshine.
There is akso the bonus of the indoor spa facilities when the sun gets too hot. Antequera is a pretty place and cabs are at the ready all day. It demonstrates its 4 star quality standard.

We found it an excellent hotel with good breakfast and dinner. The only downside for us was the use of the indoor heated pool and leisure facilities was extra and also staying over New Year we assumed the New Years Eve Gala dinner would be as we had booked half board for 8 nights leaving on the 1 January. This did not spoil what was a lovely holiday in Antequera. The hotel was easy to find and Antequera town with its Alcazaba (undergoing rebuilding), the Dolmenes and the nearby Torcals & lakes were really worth a visit. Value for money it was a 5.

We wanted somewhere for one night so we could show the children Antequera and it surrounding areas, which offer a lot both culturaly and historicaly.
The hotel was true to its 4 stars and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Value for money without a doubt. We drove there however we also found that the hotel was just a 10 minute walk from the town centre so we tried that with the children when we decided to go out for dinner.
The hotel facilities are great and the meals within the buffet dining area are outstanding ... the breakfast needs to be tried.
We will be going back there with friends and will try to play some golf too.

A lovely hotel food and service first rate and very reasonably priced. However the hotel is situated about an hour from malaga by bus and taxis were very expensive compared to bus fare. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay but would have preferred to have been nearer to the coast.

a short review,we booked this hotel for one night as a last departure point after driving around mid spain as its only about 45 mins from malaga airport.
Antequera golf is very easy to find, the staff and service are excatly what you expect from a 4 star hotel, this place has every facility and more and you dont have to play golf to stay either.also the food is great - make sure you include breakfast as its realy worth the extra, hope you find this usefull.
