The Anna is centrally located and you can get all over the city on the excellent tram service very easily (the 3-day ticket is a good buy).
Hotel is clean and tidy, room was big enough, with WC and separate shower - both fitted with immensely powerful (and noisy) extractors, but it is quiet both outside and inside. Staff was helpful and speaks English. The restaurant is about 30 metres away and serves excellent food at reasonable prices. Most restaurants in Budapest were reasonable and of good quality, but this one was excellent with pleasant and helpful waiters.
The city is interesting and caters for all tastes.
Would I go back to the Anna? Without hesitation.
It is about to be upgraded for next year (2008).
