I strongly agree with Lorena Camacho. The only good thing about the hotel is the location. (very small room, no hot water, toilet in bad condition, carpet are not clean, the room is very noisy at night as you are sleeping on the street)

Hi....upon coming here i read the bad reviews about it (after i booked it!) and was aprehensive about coming here but it was not all bad. the single rooms are very very small with a dirty carpet and the bottom of the toilet floor was acting as the showers floor too which was crazy, the triple rooms were bigger and the same applies here. the breakfast was skimpy with a shotage of utensils such as cups and knives and they didnt refill the teapot quick enough, the orange juice was watered down. the lift was tiny and could only carry 4 people at a time and it made funny noises which we thought could break down any minute. the hotel staff were nice enough and the lobby area is nice. But the best thing about the hotel is the location its situated around 1 minute walk to hyde park, 2 mins walk to food and souvenir shops and a 2 min walk to queensway tube station. mcdonalds is near 2 and a good pizza restaurant where its all u can eat there.........! would only stay for a night or 2 though!

Unfriendly staff, dirty and old carpets. Continental buffet breakfast was just bread, jam, coffee and cereal! Rooms were very small and things were falling apart. Will never go back there.

Review of An-Nur
19 November 2007
I booked this for me and my girlfriend, and after reading some reviews, was a little worried.
I was pleasantly surprised by what I found when I got there. The hotel was in an ideal location, only 30 seconds walk from Kensington Gardens, and close to Underground Stations on the Central, Circle, and District lines.
The room itself was clean and tidy. It was a little small, but was ideal as we did not intend to spend alot of time there. The only thing to be wary about is lack of proper shower. There is a shower head sticking out the wall in the bathroom, and a plughole in the middle of the floor, so literally everywhere.
Overall, this is very good budget hotel, with everything you need when holidaying on a shoestring

review of An-Nur Hotel London

Booked this for my daughter and her friend for her 18th birthday present. They were impressed by the cleanliness of the whole hotel but rooms are what you pay for and are a little small. Breakfast was excellent with a wide continental choice. Close to Tube stations and variety of restarants just around the corner. Belies its budget rating in all respects.

Review of Ann-Nur
27 June 2007
Could only agree with other reviewers; the Ann-Nur is good value for money and the staff are extremely courteous. Yes, it may be a bit creaky and the rooms somewhat cramped but look at what you're paying for such an excellent location: Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens on your doorstep, two tube stations close at hand. If staying in a glitzy hotel is your idea of holiday fun then stay at the Dorchester! The Ann-Nur was fine for me and it meant I could afford to go to two shows instead of one!!

Review of 'AN-NUR'

Staff were friendly, the hotel was superbly located, the rooms were a wee bit on the tiny side, and the continental breakfast was not exactly continental (sliced white bread and crumpled rolls), however the coffee was good. Tip, if arriving by car, do not book parking in advance, as the receptionist said they could let us have a voucher, £5 cheaper than we had booked online.

Review of 'AN-NUR'

O.k so I give AN-NUR a 4 out of 5! I will admit that when we first took the small creeky lift up to the third floor I was weiry and maybe a little scared! lol... The place itself is not in five star condition, but is kept as clean as it can be. All the staff that I met were extremely helpful and pleasent. We got a continental breakfrest each morning, and this was included in the price. it was basic but clean, enjoyable and its great to have something before starting your day. :)
I suggest that if you need somewhere basic and are travelling on a low budget, go here. It is in a perfect part of London (not too long on a tube to get anywhere). Also, the staff are lovely and will do there very best to help you with questions etc... It is kept clean and the breakfast is a nice little extra for the little amount of cash you pay!
Finally I will just say, when I booked AN-NUR I did expect alot worse! We were travelling very cheap! lol... We had a great weekend and I would definately go back here again if I needed somewhere to stay in central London!
Thank you!
