This hotel is The Amsterdam Court is a European-style boutique hotel The Amsterdam Court is a European-style boutique hotel, comprising a total of 120 rooms set over 8 floors, and situated in a fabulous location in the historic Theater District, only four blocks from Times Square and eight blocks from Central Park. Subway access is available only a few minutes away on foot, making all of New York just minutes away. A range of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, shops can also be reached in a few minutes. Guests are received in the welcoming foyer with a reception, lift, and cloakroom and facilities on offer include an Internet/ WLAN access point and a stylish bar serving drinks and light meals. On payment of an additional fee guests can take advantage of the laundry service, and there is a garage available for USD 30 per night, for those arriving by car. The tastefully fitted rooms are decorated in the chic Art Nouveau style, with lovely furnishings throughout and are all carpeted, with an en suite bathroom, hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, CD player and an Internet connection. The heating and air conditioning are individually adjustable, and ironing equipment is provided. Please note that most rooms offer a double bed, however some offer two. The rooms are allocated on arrival and so it is not possible to reserve rooms with 2 double beds in. Double rooms can accommodate a maximum of 2 persons and the three-bed rooms can accommodate a maximum of 3 persons. When booking a three-bed room the room may either have 2 double beds or a double bed and a fold-away bed. Family plan: 2 adults and 1 child, up to 9 years of age, can use the available beds and bedding in the double room.

My boyfriend and i stayed in the Amsterdam Court for 5 nights in February. The location is excellent, an airport shuttle bus dropped us off and picked us up right outside the front door of the hotel. We only used the subway once as everywhere else we were able to walk to! The room wasn't overly big but room enough for the 2 of us and our suitcases! There was a built-in wardrobe, (u may need some more hangers!) & a chest of drawers for storage! In the room there was a tv, radio/alarm/, full size ironing board and iron and in the bathroom there was a hairdryer. The room & bathroom was cleaned, bed made and the towels changed every day. The staff were friendly and helpful and overall the hotel was very clean and smart.
