We went to Nantes via Ryanair for 4 nights. Stayed at the Amiral, very clean modern 2* hotel, very friendly staff, all spoke English, fantastic location, no real complaints, we would recommend Nantes for a short break, the place really has a "buzz" about it,great bars & restaurants, would go back. Get the Tanair bus from the airport to Place de Commerce (last stop) and walk over to the Place Royal, Hotel is only 4 mins walk from there, any body will guide you.
