What a great hotel for a short stay in Barcelona! We were only there for 2 nights but its perfect location just off the top part of the Rambla (close to the pets and flowers section) and only 5 mins walk from the Placa Catalunya (where the touristica buses depart from)was ideal.
The hotel is smart but not intimidating. The staff were very friendly and helpful, have no problem with speaking English and will book restaurants and I guess excursions for you.
The rooms were very comfortable, clean and spacious with cozy beds, AC, plenty of towels and lovely views over the backstreet courtyards. Also, being off the Rambla their wasn't much noise.
Breakfast was excellent with a large choice from cereal to Bucks Fizz!
The roof terrace was good but the pool looked as though it had seen better days. Although with more time and some hot weather it would probably have looked very inviting!
Overall this is a great hotel which I would not hesitate to book again.
