Myself and my boyfriend stayed in the Amapola July of this year and I have to say we found our stay here very enjoyable, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned everyday and the girls cleaning the room do a very good job. We were staying on half board basis we ate there most mornings for breakfast but only ate there a couple of times for dinner on the occasions that we did eat there for dinner the food was nice it was based on a buffet/self service. I found the breakfast nice with variety of choices: cereal,fruit,hot food, croissants etc. The situation of the hotel was only a 5 min walk from the lovely beach and the main road where you will find more shops and restaurants. I also have to say we used the local bus alot(the no.2) to travel into alcudia port which has some lovely pubs and restaurants and then in the other direction there is ca'an picafort which is another lovely resort with a promenade that is buzzing both day and night (well worth a visit) so overall i enjoyed my stay at the amapola very enjoyable and if i were going back to alcudia would seriusly consider stay their again.
