just back from alvor ferias yesterday, that was the second time we'd been. the place is out of this world, no words can describe how amazing it actually is! the staff arent just really friendly, but are quite easy on the eyes too! alvor is a gorgeous place to go, its very relaxing and calm during the day and it just comes to life at night! although its not too rowdy, as we had a child of 9 who really enjoyed it, and there are lots of children around anyway which is good as they make friends - and lots of them! i HIGHLY reccommend the sports cafe! they staff are amazing and they remembered us from the first time we went in so each time we returned we were greeted as though we were all the best of friends! and the music and drinks are good too! the apartments were very spacious and clean and so was the pool area, we woke at 8am to reserve a sunbed, you can go down later, but we chose to go early so we could have the choice of anywhere (the best spot is next to the hut with the yellow sunbed mats, it gets the sun all day, and if you have kids who dont like the sun but you do, there are plenty of sunberellas!) the pool area is very well kept and everything gets cleaned down at night, honestly i cant praise this place enough! if you go, you will not be disappointed - im going back for a third time!
