We are a family of four with two children aged 14 and 10. We stayed at the Alta Galdana for a week from the 23rd of July 2008. We requested a seaview and got one and what a view it was! The terrace looked out right across the bay. Some of rooms had rooftop terraces which must have offered even more breathtaking views. The apartments themselves were basic, but very clean with plenty of room for a family of four. For anyone like us who like to just have breakfast in the apartment and eat out in the evening they are absolutely ideal. We couldn't fault the pool area which is kept spotlessly clean with plenty of sun loungers and parasols. There are a number of steps up to the apartments which didn't bother us in the slightest, but may be a problem for families with chidren still in buggies or the elderley. It is literally a 5 minute walk to the beach and the centre of Cala Galdana and there is a Spa and a local supermarket opposite and next to the apartments respectively. The Sa Lluna Restaurant attached to the apartments offers a great variety of excellent food with a very warm welcome and reasonable prices. There is something on their menu for even the fussiest of eaters and refreshingly eveything doesn't come with chips (unless you particularly want it to!). There are plenty of other restaurants a few minutes walk away from the apartments and a central square with a different act performing each night ranging from tribute bands to knife throwing acts and magicians. We had a wonderful holiday and would definitely stay at the Alta Galdana Apartments again.
