This Hotel is on the outskirts of the Old Town Benidorm so initially we were a bit upset as we had thought we were nearer to the new Benidorm area. Rooms also only have 2xdouble beds so when we specifically ordered a triple bedded room we were annoyed again to find that our request was not met (we are all friends but did not want to share beds - which we had no choice but to!) The Hotel Alone we cannot fault, we were on the 8th floor very corner room so high up for the acrophobia sufferer. Rooms were spacious, maid service every day, shower that we had, had seen better days but always hot water. Hotel staff were professional and helpful. We were Full board, food was very spanish orientated but we found a good variety to eat plus we also got unlimited wine/water with lunch and evening meal which we had not expected but was very welcome. The Reception, bar and pool area was spotless and clean, always sunbeds available and the beach was only a 10 minute walk away with a small selection of restaurants/bars/shops around. Taxi to new benidorm cost 15Euros or the No.2 bus went from right outside the hotel. Taxi from airport cost us 70E and back again was 65E. The Hotel Alone I would definately recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday in lovely surroundings.
