The beach is close by and for those who have an interest in history, the famous House of Dionysos with its beautiful mosaic floors and the ancient Tomb of the Kings are both within easy reach. The Aloe boasts an extensive range of guest services and modern comforts to suit the needs of individuals and families alike, from a water sports club where guests can learn to dive, to the children’s pool and playground. Units are pleasantly furnished and come equipped with a terrace or balcony where guests can relax with a book, or just sit back and watch the world go by.

We visited this hotel seven years ago and were quite disappointed this time as the hotel is in need of refurbishment and general updating. There are no tea making facilities in the room and any extras like the safe, putting items in the fridge and any snacks on offer were all at a price and quite a large one at that. The problem of parking due to weddings and parties at the hotel is still the same. The breakfast was ok not the best we have had, our friends had the evening meal a couple of times and were very happy with it. Having said that the room was basic but very clean, the hotel is in a good location for the harbour and lots of restaurants and for the amount that we paid it served its purpose.
