What our customers say
This hotel is in a good location not far from the floating flower market, with the tram stop just up the road. Rembrantsplein was just a short stroll away. It wasn't far from the main shopping street and other attractions. Though not beautiful to look at from the outside, the interior was bright and modern and the staff welcoming. We were offered an upgrade to a de-luxe room for 20 euros per night which would have given us tea and coffee making facilities, power shower, Internet and nicer decor but declined this. Our room was quite spacious and clean but the decor dull. The bathroom was bright and clean, had underfloor heating and a good shower anyway. We thought they should have provided tea and coffee making facilities even in a standard room - even Travel lodge does this, and this wasn't the cheapest hotel we could have stayed in. The dining room looked as though it has recently been refurbished and the decor and furniture lovely and modern. Lots to choose from to eat: cereals, fruit, yoghurt, ham, cheese, cake and most of the components of a full english breakfast. You just went and helped yourself. They can't make tea though - I think there was only one teabag in a large pot that hadn't been stirred. (This restaurant also serves lunch and dinner). The staff were efficient and polite. We would recommend this hotel but I would probably pay for a de-luxe room next time.
