This was our third time at Alboran. It is very well worth it's price. Everything works fine, but the weather this year.

My overall score is actually a 3.5, i would return to this complex. 50 euro per person deposit required on arrival which you get back Basic appartment, you get what you pay for, but we had air conditioning in ours. We were unsure whether we would get a maid service, but we did not, so no clean towels, toilet roll etc, but you are situated 30 seconds from a decent sized, well stocked mini market, at arrival apartment was clean, with extra sheets, pillows and a fold out double bed. Pool was out of use but you are but 5 mins away from the beach/sea. The area this apartment in has a mixture of both spanish and english custom, at the end of september though we found most english people were further up the main strip (as if heading to to cap salou) so at night it was quiet, and you were only a short walk to more lively area's. One thing recomended is to make sure you rent a safety deposit box while you are in the area, an english couple gave us this reccomendation on our first day and for a cheap price we rented one at reception were we picked up our keys.

Stayed at alboran in may 2008 and although the apartment served its purpose (cheap and a great position) it was let down somewhat by the room next door full of asians who work in the local shops making a hell of a racket sometimes till 6am. I get the feeling that they must have collective deafness because the noise was relentless coming from their mouths or from their radio/mp3 player. If you could avoid the 5th floor it may be a bit quieter

Really amazing, we thankyou so much for a quick get away for 10 days, comfortable, extreamly clean lovely entrance fantastic for the money we paid, cant go wrong- cant moan about not having a toaster!!!! i dont even think we paid £30 a night!!!! stay in a hotel and pay £50 a night just to have a tiny room and a cruddy meal- stay here and cook for yourself or resturant as its very good prices! Thankyou alpha rooms, will be booking same hotel in the next month!!! xxxx

Basic apartment but very clean - short walk to beach and shops and bus routes that take you to most places even the airport. Only thing missing was a toaster as you have to rent these. Would definately stay here again.

My Partner and i stayed in The aparthotel in May 2005. We found it to be fine basic but fine. We stayed on the 3rd floor so we had no noise problems and the fact that the pool was out of action did not bother us as the weather was ok but not that warm enough to swim. We will be going back again we hope in May 2008 and i am checking the rates for then already. Would recommend to the budget traveller.

Stayed at Alboran sept 2006, and found it completely satisfying. A basic extremely cheap appartment with basic, well used but functionally kitchen equipment in a superb loacation. Has recently booked an apartment in Alboran again.

Quite basic We stayed in the Alboran in may so we had no swimming pool but we were informed of this in advance by alpharooms the accomadation was very reasonable and you get what you pay for.For a group of young lads it was ok We would consider going again but may not be the best place in the world for a family holiday

A group of my friends stayed at the Alboran appartments, the appartments were clean and basic, 5 minutes walk to the beach and shops, also easy access to the night life. If anyone needs a holiday and funds are low, i would recomend these appartments, my friends and i had a great weeks holiday in salou.

Had some trouble initially with collecting keys to the appartment and there was no mention of a 60 pounds or 100 euro deposit, other than that the appartment was clean enough pretty basic although it suited our needs, good if you are just looking for a base, if room is at the front it can be noisy at nights on some occasions, only 2 minutes away from beach and 5 mins from main shoppin area so for what i paid it was a pretty good deal
